I think you touched on why the mangroves were replanted, yes, there was a massive mangrove forest along the coastline before it was cut down during the Burnham regime. So you have to decide whether you want to see the ocean or bear the brunt of constant flooding. The garbage situation is my sore point.

I haven’t even watch the full video but I’m all for metro and trains and public buses replacing mini buses. Dominican Republic has a metro system, buses and cable cart system. And it’s a developing economy

Raphael! Guyana and Guyanese are in a very sad state of affairs. The PPP administration has destroyed the educational systems in the country over their time in government. Many of their supporters were given a few dollars and they consider it to be progress while not seeing the devastation being inflicted. There is no national pride, there is no teaching of national history, no continuation of the national development goals(FCH) started by the honorable LFSB. Today we have former cane cutters who became road and infrastructure builders overnight and these folks have no clue of what they are doing. I watch your videos from the first time you started, and the road construction works are a disgrace and a disaster. I see water mains less than a foot below the road surface and stretched across canals. PVC plumbing above ground in areas for recreational purposes, with no faucets or water, and these things are declared open to the public, while many will praise the government on development. My heart bleeds for Guyana. If only the government would grow up and embrace ALL of its peoples, while working together for the benefit of ALL the people. Our future looks bleak Raphael! One ❤

Raphael love your trashing of the current government but you should be truthful of you sorry comparison of Guyanese well being during LFS and today. Maybe you were enjoying the exploitation of the people by Burnham. LFS still remain the only dictator of the Caribbean and steal the wealth and destroy everything in Guyana.
