I've never watched a Bootleg Kev interview, but DAMN! Let Iman continue his points!! Iman was sitting there explaining the way NBA offenses have changed over the decades and then this dude butts in, mid point from Iman, talking about how Iman had to guard the best player. Let the dude run his sentence until he's done. You also don't need to try and complete all his sentences like you're on the same page. The best interviewers let their interviewees TALK! You get the most out of them that way. Instead of cutting in and trying to make a comment about your thoughts on the game. IDGAF about your thoughts and how basketball is or why you thought Amari should have gotten more rebounds, I care about what Iman has to say. Dude almost ruined the whole thing for me!!

Damn that part about him saying let him shoot it from 40 is crazy. Because until Steph, you literally are taught that if someone shoots that it is the worst shot possible and don’t even worry about it. Let them do it. So you don’t even fathom the idea of what to do if someone consistently hits it, because its never happened. Now Steph comes and literally breaks that whole mold and you literally are just stuck because this shouldn’t be possible according to all basketball logic.

And there you have it....as a basketball fan and someone who plays on the weekends....everything he said is true. It's replicated in rec ball now as well. In today's basketball, the offense doesn't even care of the defense...in decades past basketball, offenses would try to trick the defense

Disagree. Folks not really listening and paying attention. Iman was so faded and was acting like he didn’t want to be there, answering the same questions. Notice at the beginning until he started making it a back n forth convo, it was starting bad. Example: listen from 7:30 to at least 10:00. Too much quiet dead time. Shump even says something like “I don’t remember like half of that…whatchu talking about…what do you mean….I dunno…” with awkward silence in between. Interviewer did a good job making it an open, free-flowin convo with back and forth talking so that shump could get in a groove (and not be so high he couldn’t talk).
@TheUndefeatedOfTheEast

@@Obiamajoyisrmd Not correct. I had the same feeling, Iman was talking and about to give us some good stuff and dude kept cutting him off and taking the conversation in another direction. Perfect example was when they were talking about how the league has changed and he cut off Iman talking about how players in the 90s didn't deserve all star appearances. Iman might have been high but he was talking and getting deep with his answers, he just a chill dude so he may speak a little slower but that don't mean he not getting deep with his responses. You can't base how he responded a few minutes early in the interview to how he was for the majority of the interview.
