Algae is certainly part of a healthy aquarium. One of my tanks has bba and there is nothing I can do to permanently get rid of it. If I started dosing CO2 it would probably go away but then I would have to increase my light and nutrients, and might get different kinds of algae. It's a balancing game in this hobby, and it's good to see it all. It's not always easy and perfect aquariums. Good video, my friend. Take care.

In this aquarium I didn't use any ferts at all. Its mostly just low tech plants Anubias, Bucephalandra, Cryptocoryne, Java fern...

I like algae especially when it turns rocks green, and my algae eaters graze Algae eaters (bottom dwellers) are such an Interesting demographic of fish

Thats the next hillstream project for sure. Rocks as a hardscape only and will try to get them full of algae.

Unfortunately i won't be able to do a strict biotope because i will move some of the fish from this aquarium. But at least it will be a river biotype.

Since there isn’t enough flow in the left side, so you plan to install another power head? The one side is quite stagnant in comparison to the only flowing area.

I will monitor. I removed all the BGA manually and according to my experience BGA is always gone after the first removal. Lets see....

How do you avoid reflection while making videos

The light I have on this aquarium is able to be tilted. So I turn it more towards the back of the aquarium. That is really helpful in avoiding any reflection in the glass.
