Leave it out in the hot sun in a place like Arizona for a year and there will be an 80% chance it will be dead. I have thrown out nearly a dozen of similar flexible panels that appeared to be well constructed, only to have them fail while mounted to our sailboat in the hot sun of the Mediterranean Summer. I have returned to traditional panels made by a reputable company (Victron) with a substantial warranty. 7 years and 3/4 around the world and our 10 x 130W conventional panels are performing well...

Agreed. I was also sent several solar panels like this for review. End result, the panels went in the trash since they didn't want to pay to send them back. The problem was the layers began to delaminate after less than a month outdoors.

Thanks for the video. I am just starting out. Trying to figure out how to get power to my van using that type of stuff. It looks good for a starting point for beginner cheap enough. Now I just have to figure out what kind of inverter to get for the van

Nice review. Too bad you were not able to actually measure the output in watts. This would be a good deal at $30, too bad the price on the day you posted this review has increased to $40 + $14 for shipping. At a cost of $54 delivered it is more than $1 per watt, not such a great deal.

This is not a 50W Panel, instead its about a 35W panel, if it has classleading efficiency. Just do the math on the size of the area covered by solar cells. m2 x 1000W x 0,22 (Efficiency). It is very common for Chinese retailers to write completely unrealistic wattage on their panels. You can find the exact model advertised at 30W 100W or even 300W. They just write whatever they want on it. If you dont believe me, just do a quick research on aliexpress. If this panel would have 50W, NASA would use it and it would cost 500 bugs+
