I use to do freestyles and had a server of ppl who would also and there's dudes everywhere that have crazy freestyles off the dome on any beat like coast contra so i'd say there is a extremely plausible chance from experience that it could at least 50% if not 90% off the top and it was just a eventually some crazy good off the top people wouuld form a group but also ofcourse lyrics from other songs could influence a verse though

Harry Mack is a beast no doubt. But, he's not the definition or the only freestyle emcee in the game of Hip-Hop! There's many rappers out there who can truly freestyle & get down if they wanted to but they're doing their own thing like putting out original joints in music or just kicking back now chilling with the fam & friends enjoying life who've already proven what they can do on the Mic with their skills at freestyle. Whereas Harry Mack is out here doing his own thing & taking advantage on various social media platforms he uses as a marketing tool to cash in on the game his own way which is smart & cool in my book. Again, Harry's got game there's no denying that but there's also no denying Mack's the only one in the game who can get down off the dome if they wanted to. I know the definition of what it is to be a freestyle rapper has varied through the years depending on who you ask. Still, IDK how many of you actually realize this but Hov for example practically freestyled almost every single one of his joints he's put down on wax in the studio. Real Talk!

Even more than jst an unreleased song, their still called freestyles because when you have written so many lyrics you can mix and match bars that you have memorized. It may not be an entire song, it may just be a scheme you wrote that you liked or a few bars from this session that didnt make the cut etc. It doesnt always mean the entire freestyle was written down somewhere else as a complete song before

And a lot of the time people add new lines or mix and match lines and verses theyve written to produce something entirely new. Rapping off top is when you have no words prepared and are hearing the words for the first time
