You can also create your own favorites tabs in Files. I have separates tabs for VST, NI, EQ, Reverbs, etc. Makes it super simple to find and drop in whatever VST or effect you want.

Hi Ivan. I created a VST instrument (PIANOTEQ 8 ), macro as per your instructions but it does not show up in the drop down menu along with the ones that you created. ( ADD SERUM, ADD OMNISPHERE, ADD KONTAKT, ADD SAMPLE ONE ) I was expecting to see it added to this list. Is this not the case? Thanks for the vids and all you do. Love your channel!

@@ImIvanCalderon Bro, I’ve been with S1 like most of us since version 3. I just tapped into musicloops last month. THEY ARE GAMECHANGING BRO! Gregor and Joe does an excellent job, but US the community are the ones who really push the envelopes!

What up Ivan. I just created a template with all my favorite VST instruments already loaded. After producing, I just delete the ones that I do not use from the session.

Im trying to link a midi and a drum machine to presonus, im having trouble with my hardware playing multiple instruments while i think i have them solo, drum machine plays keys and drums same time while midi plays keys while trying to collab

Once I create one I usually just duplicate the macro and insert a different VST but I feel you.

Reaper has done this forever. StudioOne is a hot mess, it just takes ideas from other DAWs and shoehorns it into their UI. They have never introduced a truly unique or revolutionary feature.
