IMM 5532 is the 6th form we are filling in this video series. We have addressed all common issues such as how to sign this form digitally, how to write your relationship story, how to write N/A, and what to do if a section does not apply to you.
This video is to guide you all who wants to fill IMM 5532 form without any confusion.
I am not any authorized or licensed IRCC official. I sponsored my wife to Canada recently , and this is how I filled my form IMM 5532. My wife became Canadian PR in 2022.

Hi Arpit, very nice and helpful video. I am digitally signing the form the way you showed. I am able to sign it. But once I open the form again just to check it, I found that the signatures are missing on the page 8 (for both the PA and sponsor). The other two signatures are present on earlier pages. The signatures are only showing when we are zooming in or out the document but not at 100% ratio. The only way i can fix is adding a digital signature (rather than typing in a text box). Is it valid?

Please help....in section C, #3 - asking if we're living together now...I'm actually in Canada now (we've been married for 2 yrs but I just crossed about a month ago - many said it was easier to apply AFTER you go into CA so that's what we're doing) and of course we're in the same place and I'm submitting this application while here in Canada. Hello guys, I have few questions regarding to IMM 5532e , part - C, Que: 8, a. was your marriage arranged as our marriage was love marriage but we our parents were involved in the all ceremony. Does it call arranged or not? Another question, Because of the safety purposes, i didn't changed my mailing address on my legal document and gave my cousin's address, but me and my wife were living together on that time. how can i prove that scenario? shall I need to put any explanation letter to prove that scenario? i just have one rental document for 3 month which described our names on that lease document only, but after that it convert it to month to month and we didn't sign any lease after. thanks for all the help.

Hello, I highly doubt that they are asking for TRV applications. I think they only meant sponsoring any family members as PR like spouse or children or parents or grandparents etc. but it was a valid doubt. Hello thanks for reaching out. And congratulations for successfully completing your PR application. The wait time starts now. You should receive AOR, BIL, Medical Request in 2-3 months after the submission. Even if you do not get any updates then dont panic, have patience. We have a video about our application timeline, it took overall 11 months for my spousal visa application to be approved. Please watch that video to get an idea. Also, if the applicant is already in Canada, then after receiving the passport submission email, applicant follows the virtual landing process. Hello thanks for watching. No, since you are applying the outland application, you should not say that you are living outside Canada. Submit application only when you land back into Canada. hello, thanks for reaching out. Yes, if visa was not accepted, then it will not count. Moreover, visitor visa is different from sponsorship. Even if their visitor visa would have been approved, i think the answer will still be NO, becasue your spouse is not sponsring someone for permanent visa, it is just temporary visit visa. You put your living together in months. For me after marriage I have lived for only 14 days in india with my marriage. It’s okay to put details into days? Part C question 4: I am also going to write no for my condition and for my case the answer is in days not in months as you. Is it okay to right the reason in days. I have similar mentioning as you have but the situation for our time being together is 13 days. Is it okay to follow your answer and put days rather than months? Hello. Sorry for the late response. These things are really very confusing from IRCC. You can mention the details in days too, but since i had a proof of cohabitation as well for 3 months thats why I decided to put this details. In your case you can say No, but also mention the full scenario in the answers and in the additional letter of explanation page. Hope this helps. Thanks
