Still enjoying the car here in Tucson. New "severe duty" shocks, brakes, upper and lower control arms, beefier rear anti-sway bar installed. (I like to stiffen up the suspension a bit) It gets better gas mileage than my 1996 Roadmaster wagon, even though they each have the same drive train, including a 2:93 to 1 differential ratio. I also replaced the power antenna and put in an after market radio and a 10 CD changer in the trunk. In the next couple of years I can imagine that I will replace the spark plugs and the rotor and cap on the Opti-spark distributor. I still have less than 73K miles on it, which includes my driving it back from FL. I think my next purchase might be a 1990-92 Brougham De Elegance with the 5.7 engine. But that engine has 75 less horsepower than this baby does! But the trim and interior were of higher qualtiy. I also replaced the dented driver's side front chrome trim and the cracked air dam parts on the front. For some reason Cadillac's plastic for the fender extensions and air dam was not as durable as the Roadmaster's were of these years. Different vendors made these parts I guess.

I love a bench seat. Nice to just spread out and relax. Now you feel like a fighter pilot.
