@@captainamericaamerica8090 With the LT1 these get decent fuel economy and have good power! If you wash and maintain it the car will last a long time! I had a GM B-body (91 Caprice Classic) for the last 11 years witch I put almost 100000miles on and it had a total of 250000miles when I sold a few months ago and it was perfect working condition. And I live in Finland where we get all kinds of snow and shit during the winter and they drench the roads with road-salt during this time. These are easy to work on and parts are cheap.

Still enjoying the car here in Tucson. New "severe duty" shocks, brakes, upper and lower control arms, beefier rear anti-sway bar installed. (I like to stiffen up the suspension a bit) It gets better gas mileage than my 1996 Roadmaster wagon, even though they each have the same drive train, including a 2:93 to 1 differential ratio. I also replaced the power antenna and put in an after market radio and a 10 CD changer in the trunk. In the next couple of years I can imagine that I will replace the spark plugs and the rotor and cap on the Opti-spark distributor. I still have less than 73K miles on it, which includes my driving it back from FL. I think my next purchase might be a 1990-92 Brougham De Elegance with the 5.7 engine. But that engine has 75 less horsepower than this baby does! But the trim and interior were of higher qualtiy. I also replaced the dented driver's side front chrome trim and the cracked air dam parts on the front. For some reason Cadillac's plastic for the fender extensions and air dam was not as durable as the Roadmaster's were of these years. Different vendors made these parts I guess.

1996 was really the last year of a real Cadillac. When the name Cadillac meant something. I have an Escalade ESV which is about the only Cadillac remotely worthy of the Cadillac heritage. Now they want to make fast sporty cars as opposed to these wonderful roomy, charismatic, opulent, luxurious works of art. These vehicles are head turners not the egg shaped bland vanilla of today. I love a bench seat. Nice to just spread out and relax. Now you feel like a fighter pilot.

It’s close but he drives the Deville with the Northstar engine. Love the Better Call Saul

Fleetwood. The last rear-wheel drive Sharkfin tailight Caddy. Now they are glorified Malibus and Impalas 😑 I know this B-body was the same as the Buick Roadmaster and Chev Caprice but it was SO much more. I had the 1996 Roadmaster with the LT1. I LOVED it. Now I have a 1992 Roadmaster with the L05 😑

Scrotum Monster how do you like the l05? Yes the fleetwood is on another level. I’ve had 3 95-95 Roadmaster’s which are my personal favorite. I have videos of the other 2 on this channel. Please remember to press the like button for this video and subscribe to this channel.

At the time the Northstar Engine was the more sexy motor with the 32v V8, but I gues since this was a rear wheel drive car you couldn't get the Northstar. I would rather have this 5.7L V8 anyways.
