I was running away from this episode because I didn't want to "deal with God" anymore...in actuality, I didn't want to deal with "ME" and my unforgiveness. Now i'm sitting here journaling and crying!!

My biggest struggle in life is forgiving myself. I could have avoided so many scenarios if only I was properly taking care of my mental health first.

Now you know better. Continue to take care of your mental health and simply apply the wisdom that you now have. The past is the past. To reconcile the should have, could have, would have, simply do better going forward. Give yourself some grace 💛

This is so good. As I’m listening the Holy Spirit is also saying these unforgiveness is also a form of PRIDE. Because we tend to want to have control over what we can “keep” and/ or “release” but what many don’t realize is that when you do not forgive, you are also hindering your prayers being answered by God. So sometimes people are a by product of their own outcomes because they refuse to forgive others. Holding onto unforgiveness allows the enemy to keep you in bondage of that situation versus being set free.

Listen forgiveness of self is real! I’m still learning to forgive myself, but what resonates most is that I know Jesus died for the forgiveness of my sins, and I whole heartedly believe this and stand on this, so it helps me to be reminded that his death was intentional and not in vain, and I acknowledge that every time the enemy tries to condemn me with the mistakes of my old nature, I remind myself that my identity is in Christ, and that through him I am forgiven and I have redemption! Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, Hallelujah 🙌🏾

Forgive people ! The people who hurt you will move on with their lives and god will continue to bless them so you either can watch them and be mad in the corner or move forward and live fully in what god has for you. It’s hard but it’s what’s best.

If God ain’t trying to do nothing else He sho nuff trying to kill this pride and ego I’m dealing with. Forgiveness will do that. The fact that I have to forgive you knowing you did me wrong is one of the hardest things to do but when you choose to die to self daily this is part of it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hey Megan, today is my 25th birthday. I have dedicated the word “Obideience” to 2024 & I have been doing away with things day by day as 2024 progresses. I just want you to know that I have heard these same sentiments a million and one times, BUT TODAY I REALLY heard it. I am going to forgive my sisters, my husband & myself TODAY. Thank you so much for creating and uploading this message. Please keep pressing into God, the fruit of your worship & reverence for Christ is evident.

My dad recently passed away and around that time I found this channel. My father was a pastor so I grew up in church but haven't gone in years. It's funny to me because I have multiple people in my life who I thought I had forgiven but I couldn't forget, this episode has started the process towards that. I honestly can hear my Dad's voice throughout this. Thank you.

Something I’m also learning about the topic of forgiveness is ASKING for forgiveness from the people who wronged you ! Forgive them for the resentment and negative thoughts you’ve harbored against them because of the past. Extremely difficult but freedom is on the other side of that

Forgiveness is the starting place for freedom. I was in a season where I thought i had forgiven but instead of walking into the new, i chose to pick that offense back up because it felt more comfortable to be at odds with that person than to truly do the work to reconcile that relationship. God revealed that in order for me to step into my next I couldn't carry the baggage from the past. Letting it go really means leaving it behind and operating from Agape love; Love without expectation.

Remember forgiveness is for you and not for the person who has offended or hurt you. The forgiveness releases you from the pain and rumination of their act. They don’t have to be apologetic or show penitence, but you also don’t have to be in close relationship with them; you can set boundaries. You are attempting to be controlling (playing God) by demanding that the other person do or say something in order for you to implement forgiveness. What also helps is gaining an understanding, and looking at things from a different perspective. What can you learn about yourself from the situation, how can the situation make you better? You got this! Set yourself free! ❤

Thank you Meg for this episode. This whole year i have been confronted with this message of forgiveness. One of the things that stands out is we tend to think that an apology or a sorry or admission from the offender will heal but i came to learn that healing only comes from God. And many times this year i have had to do the action of opening my hands repeatedly as i declare that I release this person and all the emotions attached to God. And at the point that we open up and release it to the Lord is the point that he can start to heal us. We give God the permission to start our healing since he is the only one that can heal when we release our pain and offense to him. Thank you Meg. Love from Uganda 🇺🇬
