My question who gave you guys the term EXPATS ? and not illegals or aliens ECT like what white ppl refer to my people in what originally was Mexican territory the Irony would you say ?
@TheYarbros11 ай бұрын
@@jmorales3545 the only ppl caught up in political nonsense are the insecure. IDC about "white mans" terms. IDC about the perceptions of people who have no stake in my life either.
@jmorales354511 ай бұрын
@@TheYarbros believe me I'm not insecure at all it's facts that that's how ppl from the u.s categories themselves outside the u.s. not referring to you guys specifically because I believe brown and black are in the same boat in the u.s. I just feel that it's a double standard a phycological indirect but direct, first they called themselves settlers when whites came to America now it's Expats. Add 60 percent of what the u.s is right now to mexico that's how much land was stolen from my people and now they call them illegals in our own soil. These are facts not political or religious. I'm speaking as a Mexican that knows his history and is able to do critical thinking. Besides that I appreciate you guys glad to see that you see Mexico and the Mexican Ppl for who they really are and not the narrative that the u.s puts on them you know in the revolution black and brown fought together and that mexico abolished slavery way before the u.s

Wow, thank you! Really appreciate your comment. Oaxaca is great for a solo traveler, especially within the Centro/Jalatlaco/Xochimilco neighborhoods as you're in a very walkable area w/lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, and markets. Floripa is less walkable with different sides. It has an urban cityscape but also seaside condo-type accommodations. We stayed more on the northeast coast in the Ingleses area and it was peaceful.

Love what the 2 ladys said! About people talking negative and about fear! Everytime I go on my scuba diving trips to Mexico on my own and meet people there (couples or families) always the o I would never travel alone but yet their there in mexico. Since I've been 17 years old. Traveling especially doing road trips its been a breeze for me. But always have encounter people with their negative feelings and ideas from the media. But yet when I point out the crazy policing of Latinos and black communities...we are suppose yo get over that or act like it doesn't happen. I tell people at least in mexico I won't get shot by the police rather pay a 10 or 30usd bribe and continue w my day than end up 6ft under because a cop has a power trip! But yes, mexico believes in nature medicine because at the end of the day that's where all the medicine was discovered! I know so many people who moved to mexico 🇲🇽 for their health and immediately felt better because of the food, the peace, and just better balance...

@infotecworld exactly because the doctors are focus on care and not meeting a queue ... like last time I went to an annual check up tell me why I was told I had to make another appointment to discuss other concerns? Like wtf! I got so mad! I said I had a pain on my side not even examine me or asking follow up question said o maybe because you have a few extra pounds I told the doctor f u! N told the office not to bill my insurance and I was going to the board of medicine for fill a complaint... like wow! Doctor tried to come me down saying o it's their only allowed 30mins for patients n I said what about my time of waiting 40 mins when I was there at 8am! Tell you if you go to a private doctor or a doctor at a clinic next to a pharmacy take their time and told me let's run some blood work, first, after doing a physical exam and after all of it comes out I was developing stones! Day and night! All of that cost me less than $100usd yet w us doctor when I fought the billing about 500usd! Insane!

WHEN BLACK PEOPLE COME TO MEXICO CITY OR OTHER BIG CITIES OUT OF THE STATE OF GUERRERO THEY USED TO THINK THAT WE WERE FROM CUBA, PUERTO RICO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, OR SOME AFRICAN COUNTRY, IT HAS CHANGED MOST MEXICAN NOW KNOW WE EXIST AND ARE IN THE COSTS OF MEXICO. COYANTES, SAN NICOLAS, EL MAGUEY, CUAJINICUILAPA, CHACAGUA, RIO VERDE IN OAXACA ARE THE PLACES WITH THE MOST AFRICAN DESCENDENT POPULATION. LET ME SAY THAT DESCRIMINATION IS SOMETHING YOU FEEL MORE HERE IN THE U.S.A.

wow im really surprised to hear one of the interviewees mention moving in regard to health insurance. One of the main reasons that I will be considering moving is for health related reasons. I find with my chronic condition most doctors and programs in the United States indeed focus on a "pill" related solution with no regard to holistic approach. I will be purchasing my medication from India at a fraction of the cost of supposedly affordable health care in the United States that would require me to skip work and see multiple doctors and social program counselors. I just need the medication not the endless appointments.

So proud of Shunna! We bonded over Expat life discussions and possibly traveling together. I am very happy that she is out there making it happen.

You are all welcome but shit should be fare in both sides of the border for Mexicans and for Americans @ take the culture take the struggle or stay Home “ And take in consideration in Mexico you pay dollars but you earn pesos “””?????…..

Uk it's funny but do you feel the same way toward Guatemala? Should things be fair on both sides of the border with them? We take ppl at face value not their country's value. We love Mexico and it's ppl minus the political B$. Don't toss rocks in a glass home.

There is not a better fusion in Latin America of indigenous and black people than the one in the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua. Bluefields, Corn Island, Lagoon pearls, etc...
