That second break down, the line "no pain without sacrifice" i've never heard eddie use that vocal tone before. He's somehow stepped up his game AGAIN. This dude is something else man. If this album drops this year and is as good as their last album, i'm gonna have a hard time picking between sleep token's take me back to eden and this album for album of the year because imminence's last album was one of my favorites of all time.

I just discovered them in the past week as I've been trying to find some more "modern" bands to add to my gym playlist, which is mostly comprised of 2000s stuff like Thrice, Chimaira, From Autumn To Ashes, etc. After hearing a few songs from these guys, I was like, "how many vocalists do they have??" This guy's vocal range is absolutely insane. And all the while playing the violin? Wtf lol. When I heard this song, I thought I was listening to Thrice for a minute. The musicianship and vocal talent really adds to the variety of their sound. Really talented band.

Releasing an "experimental" song out of nowhere with a formula at the end of it that worked perfectly, for example in, "Heaven in Hiding". Then tease your fan base and get them hyped for an upcoming banger and maybe the most powerful song of your next album. What a way to introduce a new work of yours, very unique. Wow man, I've been following these guys since their first album 'I' in 2014. I'm so happy to see them grow, they're doing their first US tour this november and they well deserve it. I'll preface this with a 'for me'.. Song of the year. I haven't felt the need to replay a song 11 times in a row for a LONG time. Everyone just goes so hard, those deathcore type moments (the drummer is a beast, and their guitarist was close to levitating with those windmills) and Eddie's typical gorgeous chorus were perfect. I mean, this was probably my favorite Imminence track yet, which is saying a lot 🤘❤️
