IMMOBILIZER PROGRAMMING WITH AUTEL IM608 : 2011 - 2017 FIAT 500

In this video I program 2 new keys to a Fiat 500. The Autel IM608 is primarily used for Immobilizer work but I actually find it useful for diagnosing cars too. Definitely approve.

Mobar told me they already programmed the key which I'm assuming it's the making of the dealer key. How do I confirm that before I try programming?

Hi bro, thank you for the good instructions. I have the Problem that my remote buttons dont work. Only opening the car (when i press the „close“ button) working. Do you know how to solve it? Thank you.

Usually the remote and transponder and programmed together. If it starts the car and the buttons don’t work (and youve already tried replacing the battery), you probably need a new key.

how important is the battery stabilizer? can I hook up car to car instead? like if I was jumping it?

It's one of those things you're going to wish you hooked up if the battery voltage drops too low and the reprogramming gets screwed up and the whole car get's bricked. You should be good hooking up to a running car with jumper cables, essentially does the same thing.

I’ve used both ilco and amazon keys (keyless option 2 pack) and can report the Amazon key worked just fine. Ilco is over 3 times the price.
