Great snippet brother Randy. Brother Paul expounded in 1 Cor 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Is this a Jewish channel or a Christian/Messianic Jewish channel? What was Jesus Christ talking about when he spoke of eternal life if not the immortal soul? Genuine inquiry. If this is not a channel that supports the New Testament or the teachings of Jesus Christ then my question is answered. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond.

When we die we go to the grave and are waiting our resurrection. Either to be resurrected to eternal life or to receive the second death. If we are resurrected to eternal life then we will put on immortality. See what Paul tells us below in 1 Corinthians. 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Shabbat Shalom! Thank you for this great message! I may have a dumb question but I’ve always wanted to know since we are living is very immoral times, if you have not had the chance to be baptized in Yahshuas name, will Yahweh still protect you and cover you from evil if you truly believe in Him and call on him? At the end of times will he only protect those who’ve been baptized? Yahweh bless!

SHalom! We believe Yahweh will protect His people. After all, the thief that was crucified with the Messiah was promised salvation and he was not baptized. That does not mean we should ignore the standard and live our life praying to be the exception. We should still try our best to follow the rule set forth in scripture, be baptized and pray that if you are unable to, Yahweh has mercy on you.

@Jake Smith "NEVER once did the Messiah ever correct or condemn anyone for pronouncing His name wrong or having the wrong calendar" Because they knew his name? Because they knew how to use the calendar properly? How is this an argument? Of course He didn't correct them on topics they all knew by heart.

Hello, new to this channel, what does menorah mean?
@YahwehsRestorationMinistry2 жыл бұрын
Shalom! Thanks for watching. The Menorah is first discussed in scripture in Exodus 25:31-40. It was simply the lampstand in the tabernacle. It's literal definition is: "seven-branched candelabrum used in Jewish rituals and as a symbol of Judaism," 1886, from Hebrew menorah "candlestick," from Semitic stem n-w-r "to give light, shine"

Very difficult to convince a Bible "expert" who only knows what his Bible says by what the pastor tells him or from reading a wall-hanging.

Mainly promoted by movies this idea of one floating after death even with same cloths as they were also some sort of spirit. That fantasy would make our Savior's resurrection of nonsense in our faith.

I agree with you Pastor I never believed in the Immortal Soul, but I have difficulty with 2 passages that seem to indicate that the Apostle Paul believed in something like the Immortal Soul like in 2 Corinthians 5:8 and Philippians 1:23, 24. 2 Corinthians 5:8- We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. Philippians 1:23,24- I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.

I think Paul recognized the fact that when we die, we experience no passing of time. It would be like a "moment" or a "Twinkling of an eye". So if that is true, he knew that if he were to "depart" i.e Die, he would (in his mind) instantaneously be with the Master. When we die, we do not experience the "waiting" as we do now.

I don't know which version of 2 Corinthians 5:8 is quoted here but it accurately defines the word "present " in other versions. It literally means "to be AT HOME WITH ". When did Paul expect to be at home with the Lord? At our Lord's return when the dead in Christ are resurrected and living believers transformed in an instant.
