This was my request, I knew it wasn’t exactly a song, but I feel like this track gives a clear window into Technique’s thinking. A lot of his tracks can come off as shock (dance with the devil), at least that was my first impression of years ago, and it took a while for me to realize this guy was legit. I hope this piqued your interest, because man knows what’s up. Also, could you imaging this guy being featured on a RATM track? 🤯

@@juangutierrez1883 COMMUNISM KILLED 100 BAZILLION PEOPLE! I’ve already dealt with the topic of death counts, specifically concerning Stalin, in a previous video. Needless to say, when scholars looked at actual archival evidence released from the Soviet Union, they found that death counts were actually much lower than what was previously estimated. The paper “Victims of the Soviet Penal System in the Pre-War Years” found that many of the previous estimates of historians were based on “guesses, rumors, or extrapolations from isolated local observations.” I’m not going to go into too much detail because I cover it in the full video, but the point is, the death count of communism, which includes Stalin, tend to be overblown and exaggerated to gain more attention. A lot of the “100 million” stuff comes from the Big Black Book of Communism, which was deliberately bloated to come to a nice round number. Methodology for these things is also highly suspect as sometimes they can go as far as counting someone who stubbed their toe in a communist country another “victim of communism.” *In the arms of the angels, fly away from here* “Wow, I can’t believe communism would do this” This conversation about victims of communism, of course, ignores the millions of death under capitalism from poverty, hunger, exposure, and imperialist war. We have more than enough resources to give food, water and treat curable diseases for everyone in the world. It’s capitalism that refuses to provide these things because they aren’t profitable.
@classwarhooligan923
@classwarhooligan923 3 жыл бұрын
@@juangutierrez1883 Remember when the capitalist and imperialist USA invaded the sovereign nation of Vietnam because during an attempt to fight off their colonizers they democratically decided on a communist government. Then we killed over a million of people, deforested their country with Agent Orange, and then left them with the prolonged cancerous effects all because their economic system on the other side of the world was in contradiction with ours. Then we lost the war and wouldn’t admit it, and then the EVIL communist country lived on, rebuilt, and didn’t terrorize the world. That’s just the actions of one country in one war. We are literally still doing similar stuff at this very moment.

@@classwarhooligan923 I’m not just including Stalin but I’m also including mao , North Korea right now and Venezuela , it’s always the communists who think this utopia can exist but it has never worked anywhere it’s been tried and your excuse us that’s not real communism. In the late 1800s 43 percent of people died before the age of 5 today it’s 4 percent. Not thanks to socialism but through capitalism because that’s what drives innovation. What was the poverty rate back then compared to now? It’s always the ones that are greedy and envious of those on the top that say the system is corrupt. Hierarchies exist in nature and there’s nothing we can do about that. Human society’s are meant to live in hierarchies even in communism there is hierarchies. Because in society there is always problems and the way you solve those problems is you let the people who are best suited to fix those problems because they are better than other people at those specific problems. Problem with communism is they think anyone can do any job and every job should be equal. I have an LLC currently thanks to capitalism. My parents immigrated from Mexico dirt broke and thanks to capitalism we are thriving now in the US

The most beautiful thing in this world for me is helping people in need & learning about other cultures/traditions & meeting new people. We all should at least visit another country in our lifetime & help someone in need. It broadens your view on the world & life. U understand & respect people more no matter ethnicity or religion. It makes u a better human being. Sadly most people in the U.S dont think like that. Too much ignorance & greed in the U.S has made them inhumane. Also material objects & selfishness have comsumed people to the point where they want more & only care about themselves. They have the mindset well if it's not happening to me then its not my problem therefore i shouldnt care. We all need to have more compasion & love towards the human race. One last thing Immortal Technique mentioned so many things its almost impossible to mention it in the comments. This song has so many truths yet many people will reject them. As always enjoyed your reaction/breakdown & have a great day or night.

Imagine being from the hood, but also being a US diplomat and wielding that power and watching it disintegrate the second a whire poeple saw us in the 80s 90s even now in some areas. It's like Akala said, "Poor people are dirt regardless of shade, but with that said let's not pretend everything is the same." I completely agree with you about how lower-class white people have more in common with their black/brown neighbors than with economic elites. I always point to West Virginia as a great example of this - One of the poorest states in the country with some of the highest levels of addiction and suicide, and overwhelmingly white. But I also agree that there are systemic and historical differences which obviously come into play and play a huge factor - pure economic populism without any sort of intersectionality lacks soul. Loved the reaction. Keep doing Technique! He's got some bangers. One of the best storytellers in hip hop. Listen to "You Never Know." Unbelievable track.

Duuude. When you talked about how you didn't like any of the presidents. You'd love watching Noam Chomsky talk about how every US president since the second World War is a war criminal, if we use the criteria for which we hanged the nazis. And in general, Chomsky is a GOAT of left-leaning stuff. He revolutionized linguistics and computer science in the 50s and 60s, and starting in the 70s until now he "radicalized" 4 generations of left-leaning people. System Of A Down's song "Boom!" is a spoken-word track that basically echoes what Chomsky talks about. Chomsky was also a huge influence on Rage Against The Machine, and they reference several of his books in their liner notes.

I always thought that those little clips with Americans being asked about geography or history or where other countries are on this Earth - or anything else for that matter - and failing appallingly were staged for fun. Until I went to the US. I still cannot fathom how that level of ignorance is even possible. It is very sad, really. Must be something systemic, something deliberately perpetrated on people. Just saying.

You see this in all imperialist powers from the US to the belgians and in china now as it becomes more imperial. Most random people would be appalled by the brutality that it takes to maintain these systems. So it's better that we don't even tell them in the first place. After all we know what's best for them so best to leave them ignorant. Hard decisions need to be made to keep our country wealthy and powerful and if the citizens don't understand that and will push back when WE make them then we will just have to do it and not tell them about it.

Surprised you didn’t react to “dance with the devil”. You’ve must’ve heard it already. If not you’re missing out on the craziest story telling hip hop song if all time.

I really enjoy your videos bro, and as a 40 year old man living in Pennsylvania of European descent, I must say I agree with 99% of your views not because I have to but because it feels right

class hatred is in fact necessary, natural and normal. 5 million children 0-5 died from preventable causes in 2021. The estimated cost to end world hunger is 40bn a year until 2030. That's 0.25% of the US military budget. Organize your hatred.
