Bought this on a whim after a short google in the store about what to expect and deciding thats what I was looking for. Started it and shared the screen with a friend. We played for almost 3 hours into the night, longer than what we usually do. Both of us immediately loved it. It's full of mythology and snarky remarks. Just makung my character was an expirience. Stoked to see whats yet to come

Truly a great game. I've had a blast playing through it for my first time. I went in totally blind and I'm glad I did. 100% worth a try for anyone who likes BOTW or AC Odyssey. It's the best of both worlds. The dialogue is great and funny along with the voice acting. The combat is tight, responsive, flashy and fun as hell. The puzzles are actually really good, taking actual thought but not downright impossible without a guide. The world is beautiful and interesting to explore. The characters are written well, no one is a one-trick pony. I highly recommend this game. Nuff said.

I bought the game today at GameStop for 30 dollars and it has had me laughing and giggling. The reviews on KZbin don't give this game justice. It truly is one of a kind. I see the breath of the wild reference but the narrative, the story, the humor and the little cutscenes have made the past few hours very peaceful. I really hope they are working on a second one. I know I'm just getting into it but I'm just so amazed. The treasures aren't hard to find but if you manage to unlock them without the tutorials you'll feel very accomplished. I missed the very first one, I couldn't figure it out but managed to figure out the third one I believe where you have to shoot the arrow through the fire and holes. Took me a good 30 minutes, but I was very happy xD. I like to do all the side content so I'm gonna be busy for a good minute. The stoner dude was priceless, took me by surprise and made me laugh. Thank you, I have it set on hard and it's getting there lmao. I was like pfft dis is easyyyyy, then a bear slapped the funny outta me. I spent a good 15 minutes hunting them and the boars also had casualties.

I think the art style is good but I wish they kept the world full of NPCs with villages and cities like AC Odyssey. I like the idea of a demi-god helping the gods save the world. But I prefer a more lived-in world full of NPCs going about their lives. AC Odyssey is in my top 3 favorite games of all time, so I'll reserve my judgement until I buy this game. It looks fun.
