vivid explanation on the topic. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are single transmembrane cell-surface receptors, which have a key role in the innate immune system. TLRs generally exist as homodimers (heterodimers have been reported) and are found on immune cells; macrophages, B lymphocytes and mast cells.

Well, in fact, there is two types of B7 proteins. B7-1, which is CD80, and B7-2, also nammed CD86. Both can fix CD28 or CTLA-4, respectively stimulating or inhibiting the lymphocyte T CD4+ cell.

Yes CD80 and CD86 are B7 molecules expressed by the APC upon TLR activation. CD80 is B7.1 and CD86 is B7.2. The B7 nomenclature is old whereas the CD nomenclature is more modern.

PERFECT video ! I like this! But...uhhhh....I think most important cytikine for inhibition are IL-10 and TGF-beta in Treg. IL-2 is a cytokine for activation (IL-2 is so called T cell growth factor). the function of IFN-gamma is that maintain cellular immunity, and clear intracellular pathogen. It is most important Th1 cytokine. there are some people indicate that IL-10 is Th2 cytokine. too. If I've made any mistake, I'm sorry.
