Harry is actually a good person deep, his parents are just very conservative and homophobic so that’s all he knew. Hate him in heartstopper ngl but him in Nick and Charlie is amazing tho, he’s literally their cheerleader!! But I was also like Harry before because of my family and then found out I liked girls as well as guys and got new friends and did research, and I still have internalized stuff I don’t think I can fix bc of trauma but yeah, that’s the only reason I’m saying this, because I’ve been kinda in Harry’s position.

People freaked out seeing Harry defending Imogen, but I think it's perfectly natural because Imogen was always friends with those boys and I also remember that Harry encouraged Imogen to go on a date with Nick. So yes, Harry likes Imogen, he likes Ben and the rest of the group, and he probably likes the rugby boys too.

@@KittyKatTube my entire characterization of Harry comes from the cinema scene when Nick stormed off to go comfort Charlie, and there was like half a second where Harry watched Nick leave and Harry genuinely looked hurt, as if he felt that he was losing his friend but lacked the self-awareness to understand why. Thus Harry is a foil for Tao, in a way, because initially Tao resents Nick for the same reason Harry resents Charlie. The difference, obviously, is Tao gets better more quickly.

Farouk is a common Arabic name, and so is Yousef (that teacher’s first name). As a queer Arab myself that made me soooo happy to see. Sahar is also very common Arabic name and it has the same base word as Magic. Honestly then both existing in the show made me so happy

I didn't make it as far as you without the tears...when Charlie sneaks out to meet Nick in the park and they're on the same blanket as when they were in the park in Season 1, but in Season 1 Charlie asks Nick if he wants to kiss but a dog barks and Nick panics about getting caught and in Season 2, same blanket, you can hear people in the background and Nick doesn't care at all and just pulls Charlie in and kisses him. THAT got me...there are SO many little scenes that are so identical to Season 1, but where S1 was all confused and uncomfortable with it all, S2 shows them both so confident in their own skin. Kit Connor absolutely NAILED S2 imo. I mean, he nailed S1, no doubt...but after everything Kit went through after S1, the harrassment online, people stalking his family, feeling forced to come out so publically when he didn't want to...to come back and be so comfortable playing Nick with his own confidence is just a moment! 👏👏👏

Heartstopper season 2: the revenge of the lowkey hated on characters! Imogen and Tao are killing it this season. Honeslty so much growth for both of them, they went from characters people either initially disliked or just blatantly hated to loveable and iconic. I love love loooove Imogen and I wish she'd existed in the comic books, she's super funny

One of the best things about season 2 is the development of all the side characters from season 1. The first season was so focused on Nick and Charlie so now we get everyone else’s backstory and we learn more about them. Imogen has grown so much and we are slowly getting to get to know more of Isaac and Tao.

Brad saying he enjoyed history and geography hurts cause while I enjoy them as an adult as person who is horrible with names, dates, and spelling they were my hardest subjects in school and the scruggle made me hate them for a time.
