Thank you for the follow up review, and I'm glad you're happier with that action now. A year or so back I was in the market for a custom action and was looking at a Terminus Zeus or Defiance Ruckus. Ended up with a Ruckus and couldn't be happier with it, though my initial 'out the box' impressions were very similar to yours with the 737R

When I got my Lone Peak Fuzion, I felt like it was a bit stiff. After several thousand rounds, it's extremely smooth when you run it the way it was meant to. And I've also never had an issue. Running a bolt gun with a little finger isn't the what they were meant for. Just what some people expect custom actions to be.

You also might look into the Mack Bros EVO 2 action, I’m just finishing up a build in 6mm ARC. The Action is a 700 footprint very smooth and doesn’t break the bank at $775.00. Love watching your videos, keep them coming.

the mac action is a hidden gem for sure

The tuebor precision action is a fantastic action.ill stick with them because they're marines, but its a super smooth action that has never faikef to feed or extract my 6gt. Going to build a long action ulr rifle on their action next

Most push feed actions and AICS magazines are a compromise upon compromise in terms of feeding cartridges especially the short actions. Non AIAW short action mags are stagger stack, and that leads to internal friction due to side wall pressures, and the mags are generally too short for the number of cartridges being inserted leading to first round resistance. Then we try to take a mag designed for the case taper of 308 Win and the shoulder to base length of the 308 Win and try to modify the mag to work well with less tapered cartridges, or shorter cases. The shoulder stop is usually not in the optimum position for these, and the rim release from the feed lips are not appropriate so the case is released at the wrong time in the chambering cycle allowing the rim to jump across the bolt face to hit the top of the action and cause misalignment unless the bolt speed is fast enough. Therefore we have to develop a cadence speed to effectively use these compromise mags, get the speed wrong and you get problems. There are so many problems with push feed as to boggle the mind.

Your bolt appears quite dry on screen. You should try some light machine oil on the bolt and lugs. I believe you'll be much happier with the bolt operation after a good oiling. One opinion.

Have you had the chance to compare it to a Lone Peak Fuzion, or ever run a Fuzion? I’ve been a TL3 guy for awhile (and still adore those) and recently picked up a Fuzion. The Fuzion definitely has a heavier lift but I’m wondering if it’ll break in.

I absolutely love my terminus zues.....that being said it does cock on open.....you dont notice when running the gun.... My next action will be a single shot....but I'd buy another terminus in a heartbeat.....but bat machine also has some interesting actions.... Im the same that i dont mind paying premium to get premium things......its when you pay premium for hype thats when it sucks hahaha

Put about 5,000 rounds through it. I have about 10k through my terminus and once you put that many rounds. It will be butter.
