Okay I’m subbing because at this point I’ve been watching the playlist while learning and playing the game 😂

Great Guides so far! I always struggled with picking up Imperator (or any PDX game besides EU4) and most guides I've been watching didnt cover the basics as well as you! Lokking forward to the next one!

Glad it has been helpful to you! Let me know if there's anything you see you'd like me to cover. A comprehensive military guide is coming next =)

the most roman statement: i do not know how a dog, can become roman.
@viperswhip9 ай бұрын
Romans didn't say that, well, maybe if they lived in Rome, but you were Roman as long as you were free and lived in the Roman Empire, so Iberians were Romans, Anatolians, North Africans, Greeks, and all those others were Roman, including of course the Latins of Italy.
@bettmo74949 ай бұрын
@@viperswhip Depends on what era of the roman empire you was in. at the earlier times, then nah. they had romans and "allied of rome" then shits. different citizen classes. but during the later periods your statement is true

Not only that but one of the emperors made that dog an advisor.

If they release eu5 with the systems from this game then you have a masterpiece, or if there is a eu4 mod with the ir systems would love it

I'm crossing my fingers that the rivalry system doesn't come back for a 2nd game. I want to repeat my peaceful unification Castille playthrough again post EU3.
@THX-11389 ай бұрын
Yeah if they take the lessons learned from both EU4 and IR then it will be a good game. They seem to be wise on that having tested many features recently in EU4, so the main concern is if the game is another eternal early access with little to no features drip fed over a decade of DLC...

Glad to hear it helped! I have a number of other guides in case you'd like more. Trying to cover every general topic I can think of.

Fun fact Dalmatian dogs got their name because they trace back to the Dalmatia area of Croatia
@SaxonSpooner9 ай бұрын
Yes 92% of all dog species are named after where they originate from, others are named after there service role, and very few are named after there appearance.

These guides you've put together really good! Why Paradox abandoned this games is beyond me. Hopefully EU5 will have a lot of the mechanics from Imperator.
@KonglomeratYT9 ай бұрын
Glad that you find them helpful. I am not sure why they shifted their focus away, but I don't mind it. $$ for Paradox's DLC schemes is way out of my budget. I got this game on launch, and haven't had to make a single purchase since. It's great. If EU5 learns from Imperator, I'd find that great. Mostly, I hope that they at least delete the EU4 rivalry mechanic. I never got into EU4 due to that mechanic. EU3 is still my favorite in that IP (excluding Imperator)
@thomas.a.lassen9 ай бұрын
Your point about the DLC schemes is excellent. One grudge I held against EU4, is that the base game feel kinda bland, after the altered it substantially to accomodate certain DLC. Cheers!@@KonglomeratYT

Do you think you could do a guide on the mithridatic event chain that would be great trying to play as mithridates

Good question! A guide on how to perform it? Trigger it?

hey mate, i just found you on yt and i have to say, awesome. I enjoyed IR for since 2 years, i guess. And i started a run with macedonia right now. Your videos are great. Not only for beginners. Because i did not played it for a few months i have the following question. Ho do i start the integration of a culture? Only by changing their right to become a civilian or does it integrate passivly. either i did not see it in this video or you did not say it. Iam sorry for my english, but iam not a native speaker. Listen is much easier than writing or talking.
@KonglomeratYT10 ай бұрын
Hey! Yes, you have the correct idea. Set them to citizen or noble to integrate. I mention it bluntly at ~ 14 minutes in, but I could have made that bit clearer earlier on. "Integration" in this game is sort of another word for "citizenship".
