So I've got a question to ask: I usually press F12 to take my screenshots, but whenever I do that it brings up a red text screen about going into the developer debug screen, how do you stop that from occurring?

The Key bind for the Space Engineers Developer mode is F12, i don't think you can change that. Best bet is to change the button you press for screenshots, my button is / above my Numpad.

I've always hated the Nebulon. just aim for the middle. either way, one end loses a bridge, and the other end loses its engines.

I actually designed my own version of this ship for the new republic. It's based similar to the base design except twice the length and slightly bigger width size to have hangers and has wings that house many anti laser cannons and a few turno lazers. It was mainly based on anti starfighters and a carrier for star fighters and housed 30 to 40 ships for multi attacks. It also had 3 sheild generators in the middle that that are imperial. Fighters also attached to the wings for immediate bombardment attacks. The ships I designed were developed from rebel and imperial ships and are used with defences against the first order.

I’ve actually played with that nebulon b. It’s fun to shoot at but a beast to fly. It absolutely sucks at turning. It’s fast going in one direction but if you want to turn, have fun spending 10 minutes dragging your mouse across the pad multiple times.

You should install the Warp Drive Criticality mod! Its an awesome mod that lets an charged jump drive explode violently. I think that would be an awesome addition to the Star Wars battles

A few months ago, when I first used the Nebulon B, I knew it wouldn't stand up to any fighting. The bridge between the gravity and engine bay and the main bridge and hangar is too thin. It's literally just a walkway in between with some shield windows. A few hits and the ship is essentially inoperable.

I do wonder about the viability of making the forward lasers be facing the same direction as the forward thrust. Wouldn't it be easier not to ram an opponent if the forward lasers were pitched down a few degrees in their firing arc? By lining up your forward target, you'd then automatically also by lining your state-ship up to pass "above" the point of impact for your guns. This way, ramming would be something only done on purpose by any state-ship.

I got super pumped and downloaded this game. The neb B and CR90 have gatling guns. So I downloaded 2 star wars weapon packs. How can you replace the gatling guns? I don't see the weapon pack items in my inventory just looks like default ones that come with the game.

The nebulon B's design never made sense to me. An undefended large and obvious weakspot (the "neck") that if you blew up would tear the ship in half.

Sadly this is the main outcome of most 1v1 rebel - Imperial match up's. The rebel's ships were converted civilian craft 80% of the time and often antedated, like the Neb-B. The Neb-B's design was HORRID for a Battle Frigate, the thin section connecting the engineering decks and hyper drive with the rest of the ship was the major weakpoint (Like in this fight) and the ships profile pretty much assured the ship had a terrible ability to focus fire on singular targets, the Neb-B was great at intercepting Tie's and fighters, but 1v1 vs any dedicated warship needed to pull out fast or call in support. The Imperial ships were dedicated warships through and through, even there transports were armed and armored like a corvette. The Arquitens-class Imperial Light Cruiser was dedicated to its role of fast interception and engagement, near perfect shape and design to bring 80+% of its firepower to bare at any time in any direction, as shown in this vid when, even at full burn away after a run, the folward most heavy and normal turbolasers could still shoot back past the bridge section to contribute firepower to the fight. Combine the Arquitens superior armor, design, speed and maneuverability to its weapons and coverage, to the Neb-B's superior Size, lackluster armor, glaring weak-points, glacially slow speed, nonexistant maneuverability, and the fact it had more guns but those guns were primarily focused on interception duty rather then dedicated ship to ship battle and lacked the focus of the Arquitens... and this fight was a foregone conclusion, the Neb-B's captain would have taken one look at this engagement and ordered the hyperdrive powered up asap for a blind jump. because that option was not on the table for this fight, the Arquitens won handly with only moderate damage compared to the Neb-B which is now a salvage operation at best. The A-Wings were a triviality for the Arquitens guns as well, the Tie's could have not been there and the fight would have gone the same way, unless the A-wings did there job and stayed clear of the fight till the Neb-B wore down the Ar's shields, then dived in for the engines or started sniping guns. that would have turned the tide. the Tie's would have been chewed apart by the Neb-b's guns and would contribute even less to the fight even if they were not wiped out by the Neb-B.

Now if the A-wings had been X-Wings and the X-Wings had a full load of Torpedos, this fight would have gone the other way fast as the X-Wing's would have moped up the Ties and performed Torpedo runs on the Arquitens's engines/weapons or any other subsystem/hardpoint they could get a shot off on. even so though, in a Actual Engagement the Rebel force would be aiming to GTFO rather then stand and fight the Arquitens and escorts. ether to lure it into a ambush, or to get away.
