As a White Scars player, this battle report really illustrates how much better Golden Keshig are if you run a chaplain with them! And Rob was a real class-act - a great guest, a beautiful army, and a great report!

I usually don't enjoy one sided games but this one is an exception. The reasons are, we saw some rare units, I don't think the list was OP, just really good against tanks and Dreadnaughts and the Imperial Fists lost (don't get me wrong, I myself have 6k+ points of yellow marines, but I do feel their rules are too powerful, therefore I don't mind them losing). I also think that if Black Templar would get into combat this would be a different story, also the dice did help with those haywire templates a lot..., and I find Sigismund utterly disgusting (rules wise). Very enjoyable battle report, thanks a lot!

Great report, and fun to watch, I'll be viewing more! Few rules wrong, unless they were house rules, but a lot more right than some other reports! Technically you should roll attacks one at a time, so shooting at a unit and taking the wound on the sergeant goes: bolter hits, bolter wounds, arty armour save on serge, failed save is a fnp roll, fnp passes, model lives Next bolter hits, wounds, you can save on teh serge again. You were weakening yourself a bit as the serge could have lived to tank more.

Tbh no one has brought it up as you're rolling to wound a dread in most examples in this bat rep. Where I did make a mistake was resolving on the armour pen on the tank. In all honesty I don't think it made a huge difference to the game though. I just got trigger happy with it. I think it's just agreeing it before you play your opponent. I don't mind though as grav is strong as is.

Yeah i think they had meltas on them instead of grav but used as grav instead this is why you didn’t see the meltas being shot. I forgot to tell Rob we always play strict WYSIWIG so my fault and didn’t notice until after the game sorry . Glad you have subbed we have some good friends from Poland.

I don’t usual want the imperial fists to win but I feel like you bought a fluffy list against a super sweaty alpha legion list. This was really difficult to watch and not really fun. But always good to watch heresy content and learn some more rules.

The lists were unbalanced. I think this is in part to the fact me and pardo play very different metas. 'Fluffy' is a clumsy term when list building imho but there are a range of lists I've gone against that could dismantle my list. Night Lords and Raven Guard are two lists that I really struggle with in my local meta as they play mostly infantry. This list also crumbles in CC. Thabks for watching. You should check out Heresy Hammer at some point and then you can see what type of ethos we have when gaming.

I think there are hard counters to my list but I think it's can take apart conventional heresy meta lists quite easily (i.e.dreads, tanks a few infantry units). I've struggled against night lords and Raven Guard lists that are infantry heavy.
