I have the original issues of both the stereo and mono versions of this lp and I prefer the mono. I love that new releases of classic lps are so good. This is a great time to be a music lover.

@@Electron101that’s a very odd thing to be worried about. You could listen to it 100 times and it wouldn’t degrade. Let alone multiple times a year…

I'm one for sound quality along with the physical playing quality too. Even when I'm listening to something on youtube I have to go from one video to another until I fund the best HQ sound I can find. I think it comes from me starting out with vinyl & cassette tapes? Sometimes I would notice on cassettes that some of them sounded more HQ than others. On the ones that didn't, I remember recording off the original cassette on to another to see if there would be any difference. Even from the time period of the 80's when I first started doing this on up to now, HQ is still my go too. I even notice low quality sound when others may not. Also the musicians on this album are some of the best to come out of the 60's.

I have got a mint Promo copy of the album, The funny thing the radio station that it came from did not even play Jazz.So it's a mint mint shape.They never played it I worked there years latter like in 1998 and found it in our library of old records.

How do you feel about getting up every 8 minutes to flip the record over? Do you play the 33 version or CD for casual listening?

I do not mind at all playing 45 RPM records. For casual listening, I play all mediums but more often than not it's digital files, CDs, or SACDS

The 33 is super good. It’s worth having if you’re having company and don’t wanna flip sides all day

I think they way overdid the bass on the impex.
