Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about Transmutr in the comments below! :)

If you don't apply, or point to the bitmaps that are used on the model, I've found that the UV's/mapping isn't always transferred correctly into SketchUp, or rather, you can't always apply the map or material in SketchUp correctly. If you try to replace the map with the paint bucket it can mes up the UV's as well. The best way I have found is using Vray's Select and replace material function, if you use Vray.

I personally like the proxy function - lets you load your maps into your models for rendering, which is a GREAT feature

Thanks, can I modify that proxy to whatever object I like? So it doesn’t look like an exploded shapes.

Why some maxtree imported objects have wired glossy feel in enscpae when transmuted into sketchup.
@Thesketchupessentials9 ай бұрын
Not 100% sure - you might try inverting the roughness/gloss map slot

Hello my problem is the Maxtree files in Lumion they become too heavy, usually I buy and apply the maps in Blender, I save to collada to import to Lumion, but they are too heavy, I will try transmutr,
