Actually Snape didn't really kill Dumbledore, because Harry could move as soon as Dumbledore was dead which was when he hit the ground, not when the spell hit him. So Snape's Avada Kedava didn't work because he didn't mean it, it just pushed Dumbledore off the tower

would you say that the soul only spilts because of the actual killing curse, and not killing itself? because the bloody baron came back as a ghost after he killed helena and then k*lled himself - i would say it was a crime of passion in the sense that he meant it and was remorseless when it happened, so i feel like it would spilt then, but he also k*lled her in a muggle way (if i remember correctly)
