I like Buddhist teachings. Buddhists don't believe in god, but practice mantra meditation and other meditations that can calm thoughts and overall change one's thoughts. They also teach to feel one's feelings until they go away rather than suppressing or acting on feelings such as anger, jealousy and fear. Highly recommend book Meditation for Dummies which teaches these things. Also, have a safe trip.

Safe travels! Safety above hurry! My husband and I took a long RV trip earlier this year, Feb 5 to April 15. The month in Mesa, AZ was lovely, like a second summer. We went from western Washington to Pasco then to the Phoenix area by way of highway 93 through Nevada and Arizona. Passing on a two lane highway is hazardous. Don't do it! Eventually there will be a passing lane. We went east to Las Cruces then north to Farmington, NM before heading west and north toward home, driving about 6 hours per day. I'm hoping to do another long trip soon. i have relatives and friends in Colorado. We need to be more frugal. We have debt to pay for this year's fun.

Florida is one of the last states I'd ever consider moving too, because of both politics and the effects of climate change already being felt there. But if family considerations make it a good choice for you at the moment, I hope you love it there and that the channel's success only continues to grow in fresh soil. Using religion to justify discrimination, promote intolerance, hate, violence, slavery & murder. Conscious, conscience, consciousness, awake, WOKE!

I am honestly sad you're reconstructing. Once you leave Christ at the door, nothing else makes that transcendent sense or purpose anymore. Speaking as a former skeptic who sometimes deals with doubts, questions, and this or that - but regardless of emtionalism and difficulties, I always ask myself, "But what about Jesus?" Jesus is the Rock of ages, even Dr. Ehrman says it's foolish to doubt Jesus's existence. Once you go through Torah for Messianic prophecies, see His power and change in one's life, see the supernatural/paranormal experiences in the name of Christ, you can't just forget that or think it's foolish and not working just because you're spiritually in a dessert. I hope you come back to the True Light. There's no one like Jesus; YHWH incarnated, the God who came to tabernacle with us! How majestic.

@@TheNikolinho I appreciate your words, but for me I've given my heart and soul to maintaining the loyalty to the faith, blindly. Now I simply trust God so much more suprememly that I choose to follow the truth wherever it leads, not loyalty to a tradition. Deconstructing is neccesary for the life of every believer. You and I were handed down a set of things to believe as orthodix. We inherited these things, we didn't discover them in a vacuum. It's like a stranger giving you a bag of money with a little blood on the bills; you can be excited and go spend it, or... be cautious to make sure that what you weren't given was drug money. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and that means it doesnt' start with confidence in theology, but in doubt. I say follow your doubts questions and skeptism and be honest with yourself to not choose loyalty but the wisdom gained from beginning in fear. If God is real, and I do believe God is, then there should be nothing that could prevent him/her/they/it from catching you. My deconstruction takes more faith than I ever had as a orthodox believer.
