Important Issues that cross Party Lines, yet no major party talks about...

Ever find it odd how many political parties focus on dividing us instead of addressing issues that a vast majority of us agree on, that would actually bring us all together and get them more votes…?
80-90% of British Columbians want to protect old growth forests, yet no major party has committed to that, only finding ways to create loopholes and allow for more logging. 🤦‍♂️
76% of people in BC feel that climate change is a very important issue and something that needs to be addressed seriously, wanting to either reduce LNG development or at least limit it to current operations…yet all the major parties want to expand LNG production. 🤔
Nearly 80% of Canadians agree with a tax on extreme wealth in the country, with a 64% majority of Conservative voters agree with a tax like that, while percentages of those in the other parties range from the 80s to 90s - so why aren’t ANY of these parties talking about taxing the wealthy? 🤯
These are all non-partisan issues that we all want, so if our government exists to serve the ‘wants and needs of the people’, then why aren’t any of these parties addressing what the people want and need?
If either the NDP or Conservative parties actually cared about serving the true wants and needs of the people, they would stop with the divisive nit-picking of fabricated distractionary issues, and at least make an effort to include any of this in their platforms! But instead, they only care about serving the needs of the hyper-wealthy few who control these industries and systems, who benefit from things not actually changing.
The only party that has a platform that actually addresses these issues is the @greenpartybc, yet we’re constantly told that a ‘green vote is a wasted vote’ as a means of dismissing the party and coercing voters into a submissive and fearfully reluctant vote for them…I’ll let you all take a guess as to why that may be.

Straight up truth! Also I'd include getting corporate money out of politics as a popular policy that is not actually being taken seriously despite bipartisan support.
