makes sense, it's the axe that is enchanted. coc works because it's linked to the attack that triggers the spell, so here it is the enchanted axe that triggers the spell.

Considering they said the mods were "inspired by other uniques" I immediately assumed this would behave like Mjolner since that's clearly the weapon it was inspired by. Wish they had done a mod inspired by rippling thoughts tho, as that weapon DOES trigger when you attack with shields.

Poopbutts has a working version of the build using multiple different fire spells. Each fire spell has its own 0.25 second trigger cooldown so having multiple is a lot more damage if you can hit enough to trigger 3 times per 0.25 seconds. He uses lancing steel of spraying to trigger.

Yeah, I would need a faster axe for that I believe. Also, I would lose the high level empower, so I'm not sure it would actually be worth it on my setup.

I wonder if it works with the static strike tentacles, shockwave works with them so it might since it counts as a hit for that.

It does work with static strike, but the frequency of the static strike chain hit is not fast enough to proc 4 times a second (.25 CD).

It cannot bypass skill cooldowns.

Yes, you have to pay the mama cost. Also, the mana cost is pretty steep due to all of the support gems. That is why I decided to go Blood Magic.

Well.... poop. The lack of this working with spell hits is very disappointing. I had a whole build I was wargaming in my mind with this craft and trigger bots

Does it work with ranged attacks? Lancing steel specifically.

It works for any axe attack hit with that axe, so yes spectral throw and lancing steel work. You want to use it eith a squire to get extra links.
