An update…. I did get an email response back saying their customer support phone number was working. I called and was able to speak with someone. I requested they cancel my order and she complied. I received an email that my order was canceled with a status on each item saying refunded. Will be checking my bank account for the actual refund. Thank you again for your honesty and prompt video warning us about this.

I absolutely love your 100% honesty in all of your videos. This is a wow! After seeing your comment on here yesterday i saw someone said that the reviews on the BBB were horrid. So i went on last night to check it out and boy, they were right. I didnt purchase this product and didnt intend to but everything i read would never steer me in the direction of even thinking about it. Its a shame how so many seem to be getting screwed.

Like I said in the first video. That a big creative rv video had her people telling her they shut theirs off for no reason, then she checked, and yep, she was shut off. They and they offered her big money, but she told her followers that her followers mean more to her than the money. So she let everyone know.

I really appreciate your integrity with speaking up when you have unpaid royalties. I did business with NoMad and cancelled the service because the couldn't keep their sim cards working. When I saw your video and at least 2 other channels we subscribe to recommend the service I almost bit on the offer. TWO warning flags kept me from doing it. ONE, while it promised amazing cell coverage and service they have to broker. There was very little discussion in your or other videos on the technology that would make it work where current cell devices wouldn't. TWO, when logging into the site it started a 15 minute timer. This didn't allow me sufficient time to realistically research my technical issue. Legitimate businesses don't try to time pressure on a 15 minute timer. The farse was laid bare when a new timer started next time I connected. These spelled scam. The bad news for customers who bought this, the company will go under and nobody will get their money back and their sim cards will die. Thanks for following up.

Just an FYI for the future. NO cellular based data provider will work where there is no cellular service. We said that in our first video. If anyone tells you otherwise they are not being truthful or ignorant on what they are saying.

I have had my Nomad for about six weeks. It took a little longer than I would have expected for the unit to be shipped -- but not to the point where I was concerned. Upon initial installation, all I got was a red light. After several emails to Nomad, I received a response suggesting that I reset the unit. Of course, there were no instructions that I found telling me how to do that. I asked for help again and received step-by-step instructions that worked fine. Very soon, I had a blue light. The unit has been working fine since then. There are times when the download/upload speeds are almost catatonic. I'll hang with it for a while longer, but I'm certainly glad you posted this video giving us all a heads-up of potential problems. Lou from Georgia.

I ordered one on April 1st, I was told it would take 7-10 days with NO shipping update. On day 5 I asked for a update and was asked to wait for the 10th day. Now their phone is disconnected and I’ve filed with my credit card company as services not delivered. Why can’t people just run a honest business?

Very glad you went after them. Good job. Not sure if you've heard about Dish and the problems they've been having. Apparently at the end of February this year someone hacked into their system and they are very limited to what they can do such as putting a pause on your Pay As You Go for RVers, .You have to call in which is a 45 minute plus wait and if you get through, their systems are down so they can't do anything for you, but they can still bill you. What a mess. I'm ready to shut it off forever.

We had Nomad 2 years ago for about 4 months. Home stationary use only. We had nothing but problems. Replaced SIM cards 3 times, replaced router once. After no service for a solid week I called and canceled. Even that was a hassle. Have never recommended since.

Great to see that you prioritized your integrity over monetary compensation. Thanks for your honesty! We've had nothing but frustration, huge (unauthorized) expenses, ridiculous stalling tactics and no useable internet with Nomad Internet. As working RV travellers, we rely on our internet. Just FYI, we've been trying to get a refund for hardware that was returned and received by Nomad several weeks ago. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) ... and there were MANY, MANY more complaints about Nomad on file. Thanks again for letting your community know about this horrible company.

It's great that everyone is coming out now and denouncing this company but this also exposes a larger issue of "non-professionals" endorsing products where they don't have total expertise in that field. It's a slippery slope as an influencer and hopefully everyone who was paid to endorse this product have learned a lesson. It's not always about the money (which this was all about), it is about the experience. Safe travels.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I canceled the order before it even shipped and terminated our relationship with nomad immediately.

I ordered Nomad internet on Sunday. I saw some disturbing info on youtube and I didn't get any shipping information, so I contacted them today via chat. The agent told me it would ship Monday but I asked her to cancel. She quickly and graciously cancelled my order. Time will tell if I get my refund. All in all, the customer service was fine. I figured it would be safer to wait and see how things shake out with the company before considering their service again.

I’m one of the unfortunate people who ordered based off yours and other KZbinrs recommendations. I called them before I ordered and they answered the phone within 8 minutes. I went to cancel today and their phone number listed on the website is NO LONGER IN SERVICE!! I can’t believe it, I feel completely taken. I haven’t received any product yet, so I requested a refund through their website. We’ll see if that happens voluntarily or not.

I find it odd that sll these influencers are distancing themselves from a company that if they did a little basic research would find how terrible they treated clients. You see, Nomad Ceo took all the contracts with him, so when the checks stopped coming, only then did everyone come out against them and stop endorsing them. In ERV defense, they weren't affiliated with nomad for long.

KZbinr “around the homestead with Ryan and sue” one year ago put out a KZbin on the problems of Nomad. In my search they the only one. But and unfortunately, my search has led to a rather long list of nomad influencers (people paid to positively endorse the product) who are now making their apology tour. But my view is, i don’t trust these people who are pumping out youtube vlogs anyway. I just watch to grab a snippet of info here and there. They ain’t people to take seriously. They making money by entertaining us, the viewers.

Basically, they just let everyone know their reviews were fake. As I mentioned above, in the RV world of youtube, 99% are just trying to make money off youtube to pay for their lazy life. I really disappointed with the RV KZbinrs. My apologies, for ranting on your post.

As usual you got a video out asap to explain. I had heard bad things from others and thought this is weird it's working for you. Well, now it confirms it for me. The rumors were telling the truth. I'm still using my MOFI's its worked for me for over 3 yrs now. Just upgraded to the 5000 series. Now I can fine-tune to combine 3 channels. I was one of only a few in a very bad area last year enjoying the internet while others had none. It's so good that when I walk by my RV outside my phone switches to it automatically and I have internet outside.

This is horrific because I don't normally buy what RVers recommend and I feel so stupid that we did it this time. So we're in the list of waiting. I've started trying today to get updates and no response. So basically I feel like I bought swamp plan in Florida. How am I supposed to cancel this now? I know that you guys said you were testing it but then you also had the link and I trusted you and I thought well I'm going to do it. I wish you wouldn't even have put the link in there until you knew it was gonna be ok. Maybe something just to keep in mind for down the road. We are KZbinrs also so I understand the importance of why you guys do what you do. But man oh man . I feel extremely bad for Eric because you're correct. It's a big part of his livelihood with the internet and he's had it rough over the years. The only thing I can ask is do you guys have any advice on how we can cancel this? And just so you know, the battery powered back has never been on the site even though all of you guys were recommending it. But I don't want to be out over $300. So now we need your guys's help.

I ordered it off of the original video you put out, and a month later, still didn't get shipped, so I called today and cancelled the order. They said 10 to 15 days it should get put back on my card as a refund. Hopefully that happens when you put out almost 500 dollars.

I was considering a Nomad based on your previous video. Thank you for an update. I did not purchase a Nomrad as I could not figure out why I would need to change. I'm using a Peplink Balance 20x with the LTE-A CAT 18 expansion flexmodule. There is also a 5g module available. I set the MTU to 1428 and TTL to 64. The TTL of 64 makes It look like an IPAD or smart phone so I have never been throttled or experienced a data cap. I have an AT&T tablet sim in the flexmodule and a Verizon tablet sim in the built-in module. Also an external Pepwave 2x2 MIMO. Both Sim cards share the data up/down load.

I’ve had my nomad internet for over a year with no issues. My speeds are 35/25 so it’s perfect. I’m wondering now with all of the crazy stories if I’m just lucky because I’m not using a ton of data. Who knows! Guess I’ll be moving to Starlink.

Before all this news broke with Nomad, I have a review of Nomad Air Contract. I am in a spot. I always tell the truth and had intended to give a very honest review. I have been with Starlink and love it, but its not perfect and has its limitations. I am also retired law enforcement and will never lie about a product for money, so I will the review, but express the current issues that has happen in the resent days.

I had Nomad for years. It was ok and a solution for us in rural areas. It was never the best at customer service and very expensive. Then, someone new took over and the crap hit the fan. No customer service at all. Shady business practices. We cancelled. The only way to do so was to call a line that was never answered. That was the only way to cancel. Then they would continue to charge you. The only way i ever could get their attention was to use my credit card company to challenge the charge. Then all of a sudden I could get a RMA.

We have Starlink RV and just used it for a month while in South Carolina and it was awesome, but just before that trip guess what... they increased the price. Out of curiosity and just getting familiar with this product, what is the actual issue? Is this in any way affected by the current sun activity? I have heard and experienced that affecting all sorts of systems. Or is this an actual internal issue with this company?

Thank you for your integrity. I considered their system but found it too pricy. Mike and Jennifer on RV Lifestyle just started endorsing Nomad. Will we hear from them?

Your honesty and integrity means so much to me I wouldn’t consider ever buying a Nomad or anything else that you have had issues with. With two of the directors gone it’s highly likely that the company is facing bankruptcy or financial instability. I’m grateful for your candour and keep up the good work guys. It’s not always about commission or income but the quality and service you expect. I’m really grateful 😎👏♥️💫

We got Nomad because of Eric. We had he'll from day 1. Sent it back in 2 weeks. I feel bad for Eric and everyone. We had to threaten to get our refund.

@DKBNYC we had to pay for equipment upfront and service within 7 days of order. We didn't even get equipment for 15 days but they charged on day 7 for service. We called and they had to resend equipment because it was lost. By them!!!!

And the second order they sent wrong stuff. So on day. 27 (I think) we gt correct equipment and had no service. We waited a month. I was done. We left a month late. Took 45 days after to get refund.

I had Nomad for 2 years. Then the cell tower in my town went down, and I switched to Starlink. I still follow the news surrounding the company, and stumbled across this lawsuit. The AG levied their accusations. Nomad responded. Has there been any update?

We fought with customer service from day one, I got so fed up I returned the unit within the 30 day refund. It was shipped back March.16 with UPS, tracked, they received it March 17, confirmed with UPS. To this day I have no rebate, some robot tells me to still send the unit, their customer service gives me the runaround every time, next week I will go to the BBB and file a complaint, what a mess

It has been bad. I ordered mine almost 2 months ago and no communication. I spent $500. I wrote them and they said back ordered. Then waited some more. And no communication so I wrote them again really mad and said their communication is terrible and thought they better than this. They told me two weeks. Two weeks is here and gone. I am watching the time. Then within days of me getting upset with them, they finally wrote an email saying orders will be in in 2-3 weeks. Well, today is day 16 of last email. I am going to call and cancel order. I feel like they are delaying purposefully. I have been through something like this before and I lost money because they stalled so long, my CC company said it has been 3 months. Not ever doing that again!! I am DONE!!

I did think in your last video you had a link that the others didn't have about canceling the service. I see that you've updated the old video and taken out all the links so I don't know how to cancel this or how to reach anyone at this point or how to get my money back. We definitely need your guys's help.
