Nice to see, a young lad getting his hands dirty and actually learning about his car. I’m showing my age but we always had a Haines manual and you did everything possible yourself. Nowadays it’s far to easy to just get a garage to do it. But there is nothing more satisfying than doing it yourself. Well done 👍

You can’t transmit heat through a empty groove. The slots allow excess dust and gases to escape. This keeps the pad in contact with the rotor and increases friction. The veins on the inside of the brake rotor are for heat.

One for Brad, you need to persuade tim to get one of those Abarth wooden crates.. I've Got one in my man den Perfect for storage/coffee table And above all looks really cool, be a nice touch to the shmuseum 🏁🦂

I always love seeing Fiata content on the channel. Those cars have a seriously great sounding stock exhaust. It is about 75% Mazda, built in Hiroshima, yes... FCA engine, MK3 MX5 transmission.

Basically a car for whoever wanted a turbo mx5 from factory 😄 the negative was that, when new, it costed (the Abarth) 10k (at least here in Italy) more than the 2.0 sport (mx5).... No Wonder it went so quickly out of production

Well, unlike the Supra, the Fiat 124 Spider does at least have it's own engine, and Italian made as well. There are also a few interior bits, materials and gauges that are 124 only. It does allow it to have it's own personality besides the overall platform.
