How you know you’re too good at making bows and need to level up to keep it interesting! 😂

I'm torn, as a guy and an archer I'm thinking wow that's such a cool bow. As a bowyer and an engineer I'm thinking this must lose so much efficiency with all the limbs and the strings. In Norway there's a saying the winning goes up in the spinning. Meaning what you gain by all the bow limbs you lose to the inefficient transfer of energy. But i might be totally wrong and it sure was hell looks super cool. What poundage is it and it must be a weird stacking draw as all the different limbs start engaging at different times and levels? I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm negative but I'm seriously wondering.

You’re beautiful brother, people like you are one of the few things that keep me optimistic and moving forward in general. I just genuinely appreciated your curiosity dawg🫶🏼🤘🏻

You're completely right about your doubts. This bow wasn't built to be the best performing and most efficient one, it was built for fun. Yes it is stacking and there are major energy losses. The poundage is over 60lb at 26". Thanks for the feedback 💪

Great video! I make bows and arrows myself from oak trees, but I have never been able to make a 55lb bow for hunting. Do you have any suggestions?
@timswoodendeavors9 күн бұрын
It's in the design, thicker wider limbs, more mass will get you there.

@timswoodendeavors thanks bro

Thank you! As Tim said, make the limbs bit wider and thicker (if they break a bit longer too)

Are there average measurements for a bow of this strength? I wonder what it should be like?@@DreamcraftBows

Brother when I go to try and enter your website is says that the site is blocked…I’m 28 yo, there’s no blocks or anything that would cause that…that being said, is that just on my end? Thank you for the content, this is so cool man. I aspire to make bows myself one day.

The website is offline, so don't worry there is nothing wrong with you. 💪 Don't know if I'll bring it back yet. Good luck!!

I might be wrong but, that looks like Osage Orange wood, (Hedge as it's known in my area).

Yes sir you're right, it looks very similar. But unfortunately Osage Orange can't be found in my country
