You know, I really wanted to chime in on the conversation on another video when you said "leave a comment below", but you turned off commenting for it. I'm sure you can guess what video it was. Just thought I should throw in my cents. Everyone should be open discussion, and it's ok to not reach an agreement, even if you'd like to. Shutting down the conversation is the worst thing you can do. Personally, there were things i agreed with and disagreed with in your video, but you apparently didn't want to hear it afterall. I think it's disingenuous to say you want a discussion on something taboo, only to prove the point that no one is even allowed to discuss it, because it's "not up for debate". Good luck in whatever else you do, but a reason your views seem to have declined over the years.

Hello. A bit of a random off topic question for you, but how do you feel about Americans describing people of French, English, German, Irish or Scandinavian descent as "Caucasian?" I find this annoying as I originate in the Caucasus region, so I'm an actual Caucasian. I have an Armenian father who is also of Chechen descent, and my mother was born in Sochi, Russia, in the Northwestern Caucasus region. I was born in Kapan, Armenia but grew up outside the Caucasus region. When I hear Americans referring to a white person as Caucasian, and I find out that that person is let's say of French and German descent, I cringe. What are your thoughts?
@TahtahmesDiary4 жыл бұрын
It was the white race that called themselves that...idk how talking to a Black woman is going to change that 🤔
@ayasarkisian82374 жыл бұрын
@@TahtahmesDiary Keep in mind though, this black woman happens to be American, and it is Americans that continue to push the false definition of Caucasian. It doesn't matter who and when it started, it matters that Americans of all colours still use it that way. My point is not to go after her because she is black, but rather because she is from the United States, and in the United States people falsely believe that Caucasian is white.
@prr-kan4 жыл бұрын
@@ayasarkisian8237 I can't remember but what are white people if they're not caucasian? What's the scientific term for their race?
@ayasarkisian82374 жыл бұрын
@@prr-kan You are looking for the term Europid. Also there is a difference between Caucasoid and Caucasian. the -oid ending means resembling something, such as the word humanoid. Humanoid means resembling a human, and Caucasoid means resemblind those from the Caucasus but are not. Caucasian means from the Caucasus because ian is the Armenian term "son of" so "Caucasian" = "son of the Caucasus." In English the ian suffix means the same thing, just like the -an in American. "American" = "from America" while "Caucasian" = "from the Caucasus."
@prr-kan4 жыл бұрын
@@ayasarkisian8237 very interesting thanks, yeah I do think it's annoying that they misuse the term because if then lumps armenians or georgians etc, people much further East into being white when people are much more mixed in these areas
