Impressive RIDGID Sub Compact Right Angle Impact Driver

Very capable tool with good quality build, excellent balance and comfortable single handed use. The controls fall easily to hand and the large paddle trigger provides agility with confidence and enough power to do a proper job. The terms "Right Angle" and "Impact Driver" have never gone together as well as they do in this tool; making the most of the available 950 inch/lbs of torque and eight position adjustable head.
It's powerful LED work light really brightens up the work area. The stiffly sprung bit chuck is unlikely to ever let a bit escape unnecessarily. The usual belt clip and single bit holder firmly attach to the battery dock with just one screw each. One PH2 bit is provided and the standard 1/4 inch hex chuck will work with gazillions of readily available bits covering many fastening jobs. It is a very good trigger. The design must've been carefully developed; I can squeeze the trigger with different hands, fingers or thumbs and still have good control, more so than with a single finger trigger or undamped paddle switch. Try it, you may well like it, Justin. Thanks for your input.

How many ft lbs of torque? 10?

950 inch/lbs of torque is quoted by Ridgid. That works out to about 79 ft-lbs of torque. More importantly, the power is useable, repeatable and reliable. Have you got yours yet, Justin? Will you check back in to share your 'user' thoughts?

Oh! Let me tell you about it then; In my experience right angled impact drivers have been next to useless, until now that is. This Ridgid tool really does deliver in confined spaces where access for a traditional, compact impact driver is difficult if not impossible. Add to that the ultra responsive trigger and the great weight distribution/balance of the tool and this one is a keeper in my book. Does that help, M-?
