My Impreza gets a set of catted UEL headers from Inferno Fabrications. These are the 4-2-1 style designed for optimal ground clearance. They sound AMAZING paired with my Invidia R400 catback.

Sounds great, but why in the world would you opt for the CVT? I would never trade the 5MT in my '15 Impreza for any Subaru CVT.

Do you feel a lack in performance switching from equal length to UEL. I've read that there are performance issues but I didn't think it would matter. Also is the cat legit, and it won't throw codes ?

I got a header for my civic from inferno fab. the only part about getting headers from him is the wait, I waited about 4 months for mime to come in but ot was more than worth it. The quality of the custom work Steve does is awesome. I really hope inferno fab gets just as big as brands like yonaka or borla.

UEL’s aren’t going to add power, as the exhaust won’t scavenge properly with the pulses from each cylinder colliding in the collector. It’s for sound, for performance you want an EL setup. Although on a essentially stock FB20 the difference will be very minimal

@@BhOLeD I finally got my full system from him. Apparently he is very popular, but still works another job full-time. I got my set, but he built the wrong cat back system. He said he will take care of it. I'm assuming it will take a while. So far the craftsmanship is really good. Super clean welds. Supply your own bolts though.

To get full benefits yes, but it does not trigger a CEL

@@PieceofSlice There was one random occurance of a CEL in extreme cold weather but it has never appeared since. I recently passed PA Emissions with this setup with no issues.
