The TV/computer anecdote - people switch back and forth every 4 seconds. I have shown people YT videos I have made and watched them watching a video I ask them to watch. Even though they are trying to pay attention because I asked them to, their average attention is 5 seconds. In response, I made new videos that change the camera angle every 5 seconds and found that people watch longer with only that change. My takeaway - your micro attention span is 5 seconds. Don’t try to undo or change this. Use it instead.

What about those people with ADHD and other cognitive impairments? Surely this can become challenging even with a medication regime.

Note I got Not just using app, thinking about apps and how you can do things You are not just learning you are thinking about learning We have to study details Don’t do multitasking ( you are training your brain to not giving attention) Listening Music while studying make you decrease your knowledge of the material. 27 minutes nap can help cognitive functions Exercise can help your learning process Right hydration Try to learn about the process of learning Foucs, Foucs, Foucs!!!
