Assetto Corsa training on Misano for the LFM rookie license.
I recently started playing ACC because the racing in Forza Motorsport is just wreckfest...
and my goal is to get the LFM rookie license.
My fastest lap currently is a high 1:39
An average speed of 1:38 with 7 valid laps is required for the LFM License.
So I still have a lot to do.

What is your Best Time at Misano in ACC and what Car is your favourite on this Track?

Best way to work out where you are losing speed is by using telemetry and Motec. You can then compare your time easily with the Aliens.

This might help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epe0qJKPg6tsmq8 But if you fix your tyre pressures (should be in the 26-27 PSI window after a few consistent lap, preferably at the higher part of it) you'll gain some time instantly. Your FFB clips a lot, so you loose important information, lowering your gain a bit will help you feel the car much better. Thanks for the advice. I haven't watched force feedback clipping because I'm too busy driving. It's the indicator at the bottom to the right, correct?

@@MIMCKMedia Yes, the FF slider, it should only clip at the biggest of bumps. I run my CSL DD8 at 40% ingame (100% in fanalab) and binded two keys on the keyboard for per car FFB fine tune. Which is usually in the 75-85% range dependent of how much caster my setup has.

@@ohne_speed 40%? I'm on 100% in game and 100% fanalab and think it's just right force. If I go lower the wheel doesn't feel good if it's to soft

@@MIMCKMedia Well, i run fully undamped, which makes the spikes bigger, hence the low gain in the end. But 100% is definitely too much, experiment a bit where you stop clipping. But generally ACC (and GT3s overall) prefers smooth driving, so if the car drives you not vice-versa due to high FFB, you'll loose smoothness because of stiff arms. These are not 80s open wheelers where the drivers are were wrestling with the car. :)

@@ohne_speed copy that. I'm not fighting I just like a stronger force on the wheel, it helps me to make fine adjustments. If it's to light I don't like the feeling. I will try it with 80-90% ffb

I know it sounds weird but u need a formula wheel for acc believe me. I have the same wheel and the v.2.5. the round wheel I only use for drifting since the formula sits a lot stiffer to the wheel base.

And use higher gears in the McLaren this will improve ur lap times almost immediately without doing anything. Just short shift into 1 for breaking and as soon as u accelerate shift into 2 gear
