Note, there is also a free version by Sound Magic: Piano One. It is in the form of a VST plugin so the installed DAW software is required. I use it for improving piano sound on my Casio CDP S350 piano-keyboard. I tried various free VST sound libraries, but this one is absolutally the best as for the sound quality, user interface and setting possibilities.

Some other good free ones are Hammersmith Free and LABS Autograph Grand. There’s a free Bosendorfer Soft Imperial somewhere but I never tried it. Orchestral Tools has a free felt piano called Spindle. Strezov Sampling also has a free felt but I can’t remember the name. Simple Sam Signature Grand is amazing for making realistic recordings and it’s usually around $50 when on sale. And Universal Audio’s Ravel is top notch and is usually $100 when on sale. These aren’t free but the quality is amazing for what you pay.

Hi Jeremy, this is Jerome from India, can u suggest me any one from psr i500 or psr E463 ? Is groove created useful for any song recording? Which is best for a tiny church purpose and for good beginner ?
@mrityunjaytripathi55884 жыл бұрын
Hi! I too am from India. I can give my own reasons for prefering e463 over I500, which I did. If you are going to use heavily Indian stuff and tabla as in Indian songs, then only pay extra (a lot extra) on I500. Groove creator is not useful for church and song recording. You can download the complete sound list from Yamaha India web site to compare the sounds offered by both. I am sure, you'll realize that e463 saves you money and perfectly fulfills your requirements.

@mrityunjaytripathi55884 жыл бұрын
PSR i500. It has better hardware (like better keybed) easier interface and far better features which you'll use 'NOW', like Riyaz for tabla, mridangam and tanpura taals for singing and accompaniment, 2 live control knobs, 6 step track control and quick sampling. Yamaha also has far better Indian sounds. All these are hugely useful at your current level of expertise. 9000IN has mic input for singing and L/R output which are currently useful for you. Other features like higher music output, style creation and 16 track creation is not useful for a beginner. When you become an expert of that level, you won't use 9000IN as it lacks other advanced features! And the biggest difference is Yamaha is made in India and not China like Casio.
