Of course. You are in the right place. Check out the links below each video for free downloads and tips as well. You can join our mailing list and get notified of free trainings coming up that will help also. EVeryone MUST blow air through the vocal folds to help them make sound. Its HOW you do that correctly - which makes a difference. If you do it right - you will get a clear, strong sound with less noticible airflow.

Is there a such thing as voice dysmphoria?
@TheVoiceofConfidence2 жыл бұрын
HI Char - great question! Hmm I have never heard of that. But the problem is, the way we sound in our head, is completely different to the way others hear us. The only way to change and adjust your tone, is by recording back and listening. Its the same as standing in front of the mirror and having a look at how we could improve our body with exercises or diet. We need to have analysis and feedback. Voice = Audio. Body = Mirror. make sense?

My voice is muffled, how can I improve that pls tell
@CaptainDaAwesome3 жыл бұрын
First I want to say I'm no expert and to take my advice with a grain of salt but my voice used to be super muffled as well. The way I fixed it was by using "qeqr" exercises (say q, e, then say q, r) and by imagining that I'm speaking from higher in my head. This pulls the voice out of the chest and adds more nasal resonance. If you speak too high your voice will get nasal which sounds ugly. I also fixed my voices breathiness and made sure that my tongue wasn't too low in my mouth. All of these things should not hurt or feel uncomfortable.
@TheVoiceofConfidence3 жыл бұрын
Wow Ian - thank you for responding, but it doesn't sound like you have qualifications in this area. There is no scientific evidence for the word "chest voice" which so many people use, and by saying that it pulls it out of the chest and adds more nasality to the sound is completely wrong. Thank you for trying to help - I do appreciate that, but I will write a detailed answer for Priyal and send him to the correct video that helps with this issue. My training is based on 35 + years experience as a qualified voice trainer and science. Let's stick with that please! Thank you for being here in our community.
