TOPIC OF THIS VIDEO:
Take 1: Camera Through Objects
This is one of my favorite GoPro (Hero 7) takes because it looks so cinematic and you can make amazing transitions with it. I show you a few examples and how you film the best cinematic footage with this technique.
Take 2: Speed Ramp 360
This take is a mix between the similar around the world shot and a speed ramp transition. I show you how to plan your cinematic GoPro (Hero 7) take and how to use the speed ramp to transition to your next GoPro clip.
Take 3: Person Time Lapse
This is a very simple yet cinematic take. If you are the person in the time lapse it is getting a bit harder because you are not allowed to move in order to obtain this cinematic GoPro footage.
Take 4: Time Warp
If you are familiar with the GoPro Hero 7 then you probably already know that a Time Warp can level up your cinematic GoPro travel videos. Therefore I am keeping this point short in the video.
Take 5: Slomo Face
120fps looks more or less always cinematic. I show you a version how you could use this high frame rate to improve your cinematic GoPro (Hero 7) travel videos.
Take 6: Sunset
A classic but cinematic ending of your GoPro travel video could be a sunset take. I show you my version I chose and to end this video I am going to show you the complete and fully edited mini GoPro Hero 7 travel video.

I definitely have to try out the camera through object shot. For my family travel vlog I’ll be incorporating these shots. You are my go to person to learn different ways to film. Love the content and length of these videos.

Edit 12.01: I've just released my online GoPro filmmaking course - link in description 🤩 I got 3 questions for you today: 1. Which was your favorite shot 2. How did you like the transition to the ad? 3. Was the ad annoying?
@tobiasschubert7136
@tobiasschubert7136 5 жыл бұрын
My personal favorite is the first one, filming through an object. I found the ad interesting as it has to do with the topic of your videos. If it would be something totally different then it would be annoying ;) The transition was cool. Maybe add an additional effect like a zoom out of / into the laptop

1- I like the shots when you go through an object like you did with the fence or a window. One trick i would like to do is the same technique but having the same person on the same sequence like this kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHXJiIR-lrxkl9k between sequences 1:06 min and 1:10 just great effect. 2- Nice transition to stop your video our you pc and make the Ad, well done !! 3- I think this is a personal opinions, some like, others not. If it is a product that you do not use personally , i would say, be careful to do not disappoint your audience if they buy it. but if it is a product that you use and you are very satisfied with it, i would say go... it will help your listeners and at the same time, they will have more confidence on your videos.

@@JanKlaeui many thanks for the great advice. I'm not really worthy of Premier Pro, one of my pal uses it, but the Filmora update seems to be all that I need. But one day, you never know, Mr Spielberg may knock on my door and give it to me for free. Ha ha. Best wishes, Dave.

Would the ND filter make the video much darker though?
@mateodillon9412
@mateodillon9412 4 жыл бұрын
Matte Mani no, because he would also turn the shutter speed down, wich brings more light to the image. The main reason for a nd filter is being able to lower your shutter speed, and aperture without overexposing your video
