Im just a casual player that is self taught. Now that i listen to this and even better he demonstrated with visuals. I get why my form wasnt good enough. Id be slowly trying this in stages. The mechanics actually made sense😂 thanks for coming through my youtube

I wish, you had started this channel few months earlier ( when i started playing badminton). That would have been very helpful. Now i know my swing is wrong. Need to work on my swing . Btw your analogy is very good. Keep up the good work. It helps a lot.

Thank you for the such a great content!! You’ve definitely made a noticeable improvement in my swing. I have one question, though-can the same action be used for both high clear and also to a smash by changing the contact point? If so, it could create excellent deception!

the setup should be the same, and i would say most of the swing would be the same. you need more body rotation in full smash especially in double. but for singles, most of the two swings should be the same so you can have deception

@badminton4kids - Can you please create a new video explaining the same? Would be really helpful.

Thanks Binh. This is very helpful. Could you do a collection of basic exercises like this that can be done at home or in the garden without a lot of space or net? Cheers mate 😊

Coach I can understand why it’s thought this way but I think it’s important to note that this is only the beginning n will be a limiting factor in the long run if they keep the same form not to mention it can cause injuries if they keep the same form but try to exert more force to get more power as they advance… maybe from the get go the proper professional form n position for ready stance prior to swing and the amount of elbow bent n angle of elbow bent needs to be thought as part of this beginning exercise?

great points. I guess its hard to keep videos simple and short and not over complicate thing without missing a point or two. but please do keep the comments coming so i can plan for future videos. thank you.
