Only suggestion I'd give is a little temporary lock-tite when replacing the sight screw. Have seen a few lose their front sites like that. Nice video!

Genius. Thank you so much J. I'm going to do this on my M&P Shield .45 The front sight is already dimpled enough to just fill in minus the drilling. The back sights are indented enough as well. I will probably use the drill on my glock 17 sights though. Looks like I'm going to Walmart. Thanks buddy.

Been doing this for years. It works well in dusk type lighting. I used to use orange, but find I pick up the green better. Depends on your eyesight which one works best. On the Taurus, I never saw a need to remove the front sight to drill it out though.

I like using a broom straw to apply the paint. Dip it in the paint and let it "drip" into the sight recess. Remove excess carefully with a Q-Tip

I did that to my G2c front sight but used white nail polish. I blacked out my rear sights. It works for me

Improve your sight picture for free? I didn't know it cost anything lol. You forgot locktite. Trust me you need and want that locktite. Use blue not red unless you don't want to ever be able to take it off again. Other than that not a bad idea and it turned out pretty good. Cool video

I guess you've never drilled into your fingers!! Doing it that way, it is not if it will happen, it is just when it will happen!!. Trust me!! You will only want to do it ONCE!
