I tried this workout today for the first time, and trust me, you're not the only one who sweats a lot like that. I've experienced it now.

Have you experienced any changes 3 months later?
@MostlyMessi10 Жыл бұрын
@capped2259 It's a bit sad to get your hopes down since I only did this workout consistently for a week. I struggle with getting free time for barely anything in my busy schedule + I'm kindof skinny so I would just burn a lot of fat, but I'll tell you this, it definitely made me feel a lot faster than I originally was, maybe due to the positioning of the pedals which imitates the sprinting positioning of your feet, so I had that massive improvement with my acceleration and sprints. I would 100% recommend you try this out for atleast a week and trust me, you won't feel disappointed.

@@MostlyMessi10 Thanks for the reply! I tried it yesterday and I’m not sure if it was the weird resistance level on my gym bike or something, but I didn’t really feel out of breath, my quadriceps were feeling it though.
@MostlyMessi10 Жыл бұрын
@capped2259 No problem, I hope you enjoy your workout and it's good that your quads feel that. Its very intense for your legs, you may not be out of breath but for some reason you sweat like hell.

Hey guys well I’m getting back into cycling .. even though I have a fixie urban track bike. I see that I get gassed out way to easily every time I one one hard sprint. I haven’t road a bike in 3 years. And I haven’t done cardio in a long time. Well I hope this words to get my fitness levels up and get ready for racing and potentially ride longer

Probably 3-4 times. But I would mix it with actual sprinting HIIT, which would be more transferable to actual game. I like cycling when my knees feel shot up, and I need something low impact but still trains cardio

Nah the way this dude is toe digging 😭😭
@egodrunk9 ай бұрын
what is toe digging?
@buncharandomness76939 ай бұрын
@@egodrunk not 100% sure if proper technique applies to a trainer, but in road cycling, toe digging is having your toes pointed downward whenever you’re pedaling, and on pretty much any bike, having your feet flat when you push down on the pedal is good technique. Toe digging is bad for numerous different reasons lolll
@egodrunk9 ай бұрын
@@buncharandomness7693 thanks. i just picked up an indoor exercise bike and was wondering if I should be pointing my toes down to get full extension lol. i guess not. why is it bad exactly?
@buncharandomness76939 ай бұрын
@@egodrunk it can cause a bit more pressure on your wrists and can slide you forward onto the saddle because of the toe positioning, it inhibits your legs from using full strength, locking your heel so your toe points downward pretty much prevents flex and doesn’t allow you to use your calves as much, and from personal experience, having a downward pointed toe on the road makes it easier for you to clip your toe on the ground if there is an obstacle that protrudes from the ground (or if you’re turning and pedaling) and you can hyperextend the tendon on the top of your foot that goes up to your ankle and it can cause a crash. (Trust me it hurts like all hell)

@@buncharandomness7693 So do I want my feet parallel to the floor and my heels basically pointing down so I feel a stretch in my calves?
