You don’t need to use the same word over and over. Improve your vocabulary and you’ll sound more intelligent - it’s as simple as that. Instead of just calling everything you don’t like “bad”, try using more precise words instead. For example, you might replace “bad” with “tacky” or “dowdy”. You will sound more nat11:16 PM 2023-03-20ural and intelligent, and your words will also paint a clearer picture for the people you’re speaking with. Since we use words to think, you’ll even paint a clearer picture for yourself by using more exact vocabulary. In this class, I’ll teach you many words you can use instead of just “bad”, and I’ll also show you the opposite words you can use to discuss positive characteristics. Using these adjectives on the speaking section of IELTS and TOEFL exams will impress your examiner and improve your score. Remember: variety is the spice of life! www.engvid.com/stop-saying-bad/

Thank you, I appreciate your class and your teaching. You might want to consider flipping your colour code as you do with your sentences. I found out recently that Black ink = Dead and Red is exactly what you think it is! 💚Pax, Amore et Lux 💚.

My interesting new British word u taught is Grotty. The sentence I would like to use it is: Despite the grotty ratings high celebrities received from their movies, they remain on demand. Let me know if I used it appropriately. Where will I use it … social gatherings, maybe even critique an interior designer’s project.

I watched a lot of your videos and it helped for my vocabulary, i’m french and i just realised that french language can give me bad habits cause there is a lof of french words that are really similar or the same in English vocabulary and it can be an advantage but sometimes it makes me believe that some words work in English too when they arent 😅

I learn English as a foreign language so it is difficult for me to make English as my second or first language. I am difficult to get New vocabulary and how to use it grammatically correct. And the most important thing, i am so frustrated to find the best way to make English goes out automatically from my mouth and my mind😅
