Thank you for the videos. They are very informative and I’ve learned a lot. I have a question. Would it be possible to get a 1/4X20X1.25” or 1.5” set screw, run it up into the receiver (with loctite applied), get your take up set, install your grip and decent spring, and put a nut on the inside of your grip to hold it all together? It would probably save a lot of machine work drilling and tapping the center of a 1/4” bolt (not that you are not more than capable of it). Would this work? If not, what issues do you foresee?

Thanks, and I'm glad they helped. I don't see why that wouldn't work. Just use a small amount of blue thread locker. Sounds like a great alternative!

Looked it up and JoeBob screw grip is $10. Look like other channel recommends changing the hammer spring to lighten the trigger.
