IMPROVISATION 2 - Live Rehearsal Session 1 Part 3: Rick Hopkinson - Hydrasynth Deluxe: Ambient Music

On Friday 14th June 2024, I performed a short live music set in the film & photography studio at Calderdale College where I work.
This is part 3 of 3. The final part of that day... the following Friday I performed two more with another synth and other gear (uploading very soon after this video).

We may approach other crossroads of musical directional options later along the way, which I can explore at that point… But for now, its in and out of the darkness and the light 😊

Very nice work Rick. I'm also considering buying the Hydrasynth Deluxe for moving envolving pads along with my Buchla system. Glad I hear now what the hydrasynth deluxe is capable of doing some nice drones.

Hello there 👋 😃 Thanks so much! Yes it’s definitely very capable in that department in my opinion. It’s all the LFOs to some degree that makes so much movement… 5 per sound engine… it’s a dream to build sounds on. I’d definitely recommend it.
