LOST - Live Rehearsal Session 2 Part 1 of 2 - Rick Hopkinson - Behringer 2600 - Dark Ambient Music

Hello and welcome to the 2nd live rehearsal session that was recorded on Friday 21st June 2024. I played two improvised performances on the Behringer 2600 synthesiser. This is Part 1.
The output of the Behringer 2600 went through the Nux Cerberus effects pedal and out into the Source Audio Ventris Dual Reverb pedal and into the recording mixer.
The derelict location images used were kindly gifted by my good friend and colleague Ricky. Thanks mate.

Hello Stuie 👋😃 Thank you mate… yeah I love that reverb. It’s the Source Audio Ventris. Best reverb I’ve had and what I’ve wanted in my mind since childhood 😂 Yeah I’m very partial to this synth… possibly my favourite synth to be honest. I love it’s raw tone

Rainer! Hi 👋 mate… I’m very very pleased you liked this. It certainly is a beast… I’m getting to know it a little deeper than surface level now but there’s still quite a bit I need to learn in it. But I’m glad I’m finding how to make it roar in such an industrial, haunting and post-apocalyptic way ♥️ Thank you mate… some friends and work colleagues filmed this series of videos for me and I’ve added some subtle post editing for zooms and panning position of the image too, but it’s only sugar coating in what they already filmed. They did a great job. I’m planning to take this setup (or similar) to public live shows very soon… 🤔

@@antfactor Hello again mate 👋 Thank you very much… yes I’ve gigged in a band many times years back and currently I’ve been collaborating with people on my channel. The way I’ve been doing it is each person sends the other a starting point/core part of a track, and then the other person adds their part and finishes the track for their channel. I’m up for a collaboration if you are mate… I’ll have a look at what you do too 😎👍🙏🏻
