Hello everyone👋🏼 it’s me, Kyle Landry. Thanks again for spending a little of your time listening to my music, and my latest improvisation. The two thoughts I had in mind before sitting down and playing this was 3/4 time signature, and a tonal center of A. Hope you enjoy what came out of that :) oh… also I wanted to apologize for the lack of content. It’s not that I don’t want to record for you guys, it’s just life got complicated, and so did the process of recording once I got the grand piano. I also get camera shy, and lose confidence in myself, making it very difficult to record something that I deem “good enough” to post.. But, I’m not done creating music and arrangements on piano for you guys. In fact, I’m just getting started 💪🏼 so I truly appreciate the continuing support from your listening, and commenting on my content. Cheers from Southern California. Where are you commenting from?? ✌🏼❤️

You should be glad how you are inspiring people. I started playing piano 2 years ago because of you (Circle of Life, Hallelujah covers etc). The way u'r covering songs is insane great. Maybe you should try cover Sound of silence ;p Cheers from Poland : )

Good to see a new video. Been a while again. The audio is perfect and so is the sound of that piano. That chord you played at 3:51/3:52 was awesome.

Having followed you since the beginning of my piano journey, I find that the more I learn about music, the more it becomes obvious to me that your work is a product of so much knowledge, practice, thoughtfulness, skill, and just genuine passion. All the years and years you've invested in your craft are becoming more and more evident to me and as a result I can't say I've outgrown your music at all, on the contrary- I only appreciate and enjoy it more. Anyways, not trying to sound like a suck up or like I'm idolizing you lol.. I just think you deserve more appreciation/recognition for all that goes into everything you do.

Hey Kyle, whatever you’re going through in life, know that we’re always here with you. As a creator myself (not musical), I sometimes get stuck in the process too, and that’s totally fine. Deal with what you must and seek help you deem necessary. Many of us have the bell turned on and will always be here at your command.

I love how you did all those modulations btw, I find that something very difficult to do it well. PD: I'm also a pianist and a composer too btw. Hi Kyle, thanks for your new video. At first, the quality of the recording is flawless! Also the tune of your grand piano is absolutely fine now. I've been a big fan of yours for many years now and wondered why you made less uploads than in earlier times. I guessed that you might probably have some personal struggles to cope with and now it seems to be that I guessed correctly 😕 Just to share my thoughts on when I started watching your new video. Your music inspired me starting to play the piano again a couple of years ago. Recently, I've started practicing One Winged Angel as a next challenge of playing skills and currently I'm really struggling with some parts of the piece. My first thought watching your video here was "Man, Kyle knows how to move his fingers smoothly and vividly." I discovered you and your music, because I also really like Pachelbel's Canon and the first video I watched was your improvisation No10. From this day you've been a rolemodel for me and an ongoing inspiration. I really love your playstyle, your broad variety of genres and your creativity when it comes to transitions and chord progressions. Thank you very much for all your content during the last years! I hope you will find your confidence once again, you have earned it! I'm sending you a big chunk of energy 💪 Greetings from Halle in Germany 🙂

Thank you for your message! I've been trying out some new stuff with the mixing/microphones. As for the tuning of the piano, I am really happy because it has been about 3 months and it still sounds like this. It's been 1 year since the restoration, so the new strings are finally acquainted, and will stay in tune for longer :)

It’s on a strict water schedule, and receives a lot of ideal indirect bright light nearly every day because it’s so sunny here. Also I keep the humidity of this room at a good level for the plants. The white stuff is just rocks for decoration 😜 also don’t forget to fertilize when necessary, and wash the leaves (it looks nice, and also can help it with photosynthesis)
