_Impulse_ is short and sweet. It gives a nice, smooth ride and is very fun! Let me tell you, when you're 90 feet in the air, facing straight down, with nothing but that lap bar between you and eternity, well ... it really adds to the excitement of the ride. What a great coaster!

Jared Andell I rode it yesterday and it really is great. It isn't super fast but that is what makes it good. You get some great hang time at the top of the inversions and since it only has a lap bar it is even more fun. I still think Phoenix is the best coaster in the park though.

I just rode this yesterday. That 90-degree lift is trippy as hell. There's no shoulder restraints, only a lap bar, so you feel like you're gonna slide out of your seat. It's crazy. But a lot of fun! Doesn't go very fast, though.

Just rode it for the first time today. Definitely recommend it. Multiple fun experiences. Lying on your back going up, crazy inward looking drop and the corkscrew at the end all add up to make this a great coaster.

Just rode yesterday! Wow that first lift hill is no joke! Even my husband was like wow! I don't like feeling that (you feel like you are falling out going up the hill)! After that, the drop and flips are super smooth. The zero-g is crazy and you're out of your seat the entire time haha. Upon arriving to the station I felt VERY dizzy (we didn't eat much but 2 potato pancakes) so if your old like me, eat/drink before getting on. I really felt super dizzy! Not sure if we will go back on.

This is a great coaster...very nicely done. Super smooth and a really nice design. Lack of chest restraint makes the drop super scary. Go to knoebles...such a nice park

I was so fucking afraid while in line and while I was going up the drop, but then when I rode down, I fucking loved it. I also remember screaming "IM NOT AFRAID ANYMORE!", Causing everyone to laugh! Drew Root It would be cool if it was a bit longer but I'm honestly surprised it's as long as it it, they cramed it into a tight space! It's a lot more worth the wait than Flying Turns is IMO. That's a cool ride but the excitement really varies on it and the line is always ridiculous. It takes way too long to load the trains. Knoebels has already gotten pretty good with Impulse over the course of one season.

We rode it last week…if you go on a weekday morning, the line is only maybe 15 mins long. Very smooth, faster than it looks on this video, fun! Totally agree with Skylar, though, the Phoenix is my favorite ride at Knoebels. Don't miss the bumper cars, either…..best in the US and old/beautifully maintained. I've been to Knoebels every year of my 61 years, starting when I was 2 weeks old!

mhtube01 Smoothest ride I've ever been on is B&M's Riddler's Revenge at Six Flags Magic Mountain. You get the idea you could hold a glass of water through the whole ride and not spill it in spite of all the inversions.

Docktor Jim I've always wanted to ride that coaster! B&M coasters are usually smooth, the only one I've ever ridden that jars you quite a bit (at least in the front) is Hydra: The Revenge at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. It's a floorless coaster in case you aren't familiar with it. Not a bad ride but could have been better IMO. Talon, the B&M invert they have there is a much better coaster.

You should. They're a lot of fun. The big rides get easier to go on after riding a few. Hershey and Kennywood have bigger rides than Knoebels. I love Knoebels but the bigger rides at Kennywood, Dorney and Hershey are fun in different ways. More thrills for bigger rides. However, Knoebels are just fun. Phoenix is a pretty intense coaster. If you can handle Pheonix you can handle most bigger rides

I found it to be perfectly smooth in the front but it had a very slight rattle in the back. Regardless, it is still a great ride and the vibrations are so minor that they don't detract from the ride. This is certainly better than most Gerstlauer Euro Fighters.
