Mobley isn't just learning, he's being unleashed. Check out his USC highlights and match them up to his movement this season. He was being severely underutilized as a stretch 4 last year. He can already do so much more than just run pick and roll lob catches and corner 3's. I'm just glad to see him getting better and more comfortable each season.

the return of max strus will be fun to watch. not only another volume shooter coming into the fold that will see more open looks than last season, he’s another viable ballhandler that will find the bigs when defences collapse, run pnr and dhos effectively, attack closeouts consistently. another drive and kick weapon for a team thats been killing by driving and kicking

The contrast between the Cavaliers and the Lakers couldn't be more striking. The Cavalier players are constantly in motion on both ends of the floor, very dynamic and active. The Lakers just stand there on offense, barely any movement and just waiting to catch and shoot.

The reason that the Cavs 4 man had a better rating 2 years ago is because Okoro started and fit better with them. It's funny how they keep on going away from what works best for them. Yes, Strus is an overall better player than Okoro. That doesn't mean that he's a better fit in the starting lineup.

I actually think the best option for that 5th spot is Dean Wade, which is why I’m glad they’ve finally made him a full time starter. In my opinion, the reason they were so good in 2023 is because that’s the best version of Darius Garland we’ve seen, and if he gets back to that level this year they could be just as effective!
