Anyone else triggered a little by the inconsistency of the draft interface? Bans from both teams go inward to the center but picks are left to right for both teams.. wtf?! 1:24:46

Should be a point per win. All winners from day 1 should have 2 points and losers have 1 point. Pushing a series to 3 games should give some advantage over teams that don’t.

This does make some sense, but then if each game is worth a point, every match must consist of 3 games. There is no reason to deny the team that goes down 2-0 the chance to get a point from the 3rd game if you aren't doing true winner takes all Bo3

@@Turbovolver Would have to be winner gets 3 points I think, or maybe you get 3 points if you win 2 - 0 but only 2 if it's 2 - 1?

Similar to what the last guy replied, this methodology sounds good at first until you realize how much it would change the way teams play and game the system. You could maybe argue an all encompassing win:loss (2-0 or 2-1 for one match adding all season long), but this also has drawbacks. Teams would play more reserved to try to ensure they get a 2-0 victory, even against a vastly weaker team. Maybe with fearless draft, but even then I think of the old school EU CLG and I would never want to influence teams to play like that every game against every opponent. Any time I think creatively about wins having nuances for ranking, I think about when league tried to do role-based rankings. Same reason you don’t gain/lose LP based on performance. People will find a way to game the system to maximize their rankings instead of just trying to win.
