RP2040 - JLCPCB have recently started offering the RP2040, at the time of writing this they have 162 in stock at $1.1582 (£0.84) here in the UK. Awesome dual core M0+ micro for the price, with good documentation and still available whereas so many micros are on a long back order at present. Would be nice to have a larger development board than the Pico, with a suite of sensors and other components on board to have a play with and some digital signal processing.

Hi Glen, still working on it - taking much longer than expected due to an overall heavy workload. Can't promise it'll be in the near future but it's definitely still in the works :)

I'd love to see a design using something like the MCP3561R 24-bit (oversampling) ADC. Measuring ultra-small-scale signals has always fascinated me, but seems to have all sorts of black-magic rules: guard traces? split power supplies? split ground planes? Vref filtering? I would love to see your approach to the problem and see what kind of signals you can measure. As a motivating use case, you could hook one up to an analog accelerometer and try to detect e.g. low-frequency vibrations from cars passing outside without needing an amp.

I'd love to see a flight controller and video transmitter done well together, I always feel like there are loose analogue cables floating around high-frequency digital stuff and would love to see how someone with knowhow would reduce interference of everything!

I love to play the guitar, and to design custom audio effects. I had an idea to create a cheap audio interface for smartphones, but I never got to do it. So... Here's an idea for a future project: stm32 based USB audio input card. The amplifier stage can be done with MCP6002, the ADC can be an ES8218, and the IC for audio class an STM32F407VGT6. This setup is enough for a decent audio input. The output can be routed to bluetooth for example.

Grab a XC6SLX9-2TQG144C and slap it on to a board with a VGA connector and a bit of ROM and make a simple VGA dumb buffer that outputs an image from a ROM chip on to a VGA display. I would suggest a more modern FPGA, but they seem to be out of stock and prices are somewhat ridiculous.

Maybe just the sensor module. To do this right you’d need for more processing power and a complete sensor suite. And it would be best to have this integrated with the flight control computer.

It would be could if you get a CAN Bus transceiver, like one of the SN65HDV series from TI (JLCPBC Basic Part: C12084). I really want to learn more about implementing CAN with STM32. Integrating the transceiver on a PCB with the STM32 chip would be great.

I would really fin a break outboard based on MCP2515T-I/SO CANBUS would be nice. I'd love to have on that allows power via the CAN cable (say 12/24V) so you can have the power and CAN signal on the same cable and the breakout powering a 3.3V or 5.0V MCU. This would allow on to connect several cheap MCU with a single CAN cable and power the entire network using the breakout and 12V/24V.

I would love to see a Video on the popular ADAU1701JST Audio DSP. It Has several audio channels, high resolution ADC/DAC and can fully be configured with the great software called Sigma Studio. There you can easily design filters and audio effects which makes this IC an excellent choice for a low cost DSP without the need to programm all algorithms by yourself. Because it is widely used, JLC has thousands of them in stock. Keep up the great work.

I would love to see some digital audio related design. Maybe a development board with an adda and a fpga or something like that for experimenting with audio stuff and dsp on fpga. I don’t have time to look for parts that jlc have in stock so I guess I’m not participating in the giveaway. Instead I’m woting for the guy with the idea of a design with the ADAU1701.
